what I am saying is, something is not adding up properly. I am not justifying my decision or do I feel I owe something to Rahal. But I did have a procedure booked with another top doc. I pulled out of the procedure 2 wweks before and lost my deposit, I did all of this because I had a terrible feeling that something wasnt right, betwwen the marketing and estimates. I am so happy I pulled out and went to Dr. Rahal, the experience I had and am continuing to have has been wondeerfull.

The bottom line is if this man is not happy with results he has a right to express them on this forum as long as he does not commit libel.
As we all know with HT there are no guarantees. Everyone is different and every case is also. Some may have a good result and some may not.
He has as much of a right to tell his story as the Doctor has to not give the man his money back.
I agree smething is not right here, it is strange that a doctor would perform hair transplant on someone with so much hair, have you guys seen the before pics? that is a lot of hair !

The last I checked, he is the doctor that made the incisions and caused that damage that I have to live with now.
I have proved to HairSite that I AM his patient.
I have also registered a complaint with the Ontario College of Physicians, and I’m sure that will be VERY interested in this entire thread and the NON existent support from Dr. Rahal presented here.
There are TWO unhappy patients of his in need to help and all Dr. Rahal can say is something is not right. What a joke.
I know of three other patients of his that are also not happy.

what area did Rahal cover for the 2500 grafts? Was it the frontal 3rd?
2)do you have any immediate post op pics?
why do you have 2 strip scars in the photo provided? Did you have previous work done? Before or after Rahal?
was most of the hair you lost due to shock? How long after the procedure did you lose it?

It’s ok Thomas. It’s really frustrating that Dr. Rahal will not even admit that he is my surgeon and that I’m being forced to defend myself. I did contact Dr. Rahal a few months ago at his Ottawa location and he did not return any of my calls. I left one with his secretary at the time and the other with his sales rep. None were returned. When I e-mailed him with photos stating that I was not happy, he then decided to contact me. I asked one question: Can you provide me with one FUE result? He said yes and his sales guy said yes (I never received the photos).
The reason I asked is because I’ve spoken to several well-know surgeons about my case and all agree that I can’t have another strip. I did have a successful procedure with another doctor a few years prior and turned to Dr. Rahal to thicken things up. It’s then that he created another scar! And destroyed my donor area. Because of this, strip is NOT an option for me. Other doctors said that I have no elasticity left and that I run the risk of a large scar. So FUE is my ONLY option. Dr. Rahal advertises FUE on his website but he can’t even provide a patient of his with a before and after result. That’s false advertising!
Dr. Rahal implanted the grafts in the frontal third and in doing so, damaged most of the native follicles. He rushed the case and did not take his time. The damage that he caused placed my entire scalp into shock and the result is what you see now. I would say that all of the above happened over six months. At first, I didn’t realize the damage or realize it was permanent.
Other doctors have stated that when DR. RAHAL made the incisions, he damaged other follicles, meaning they are gone for life.
Dr. Rahal was THE ONLY DOCTOR who performed my procedure. There were no other doctors involved. He is my doctor and needs to take the blame for the damage he caused. My life is ruined thanks to him. And I now have to spend my savings to fix this mess
The Ontario College of Physicians is involved and once I get more info, I share it with you. They are REALLY interested in how he is treating me and other patients on this forum. People are so quick to jump on the already downtrodden. Forum members should be trying to help, and not judge or question his motives or validity. Thomas is in a bad situation. Way worse than what I am in. He needs support to positivity, not all this judging and skeptism. Rahal should know who his patients are! Thats what makes this more sad, and my comments at the beginning of this thread more valid.
