Over the last twenty years I’ve lost about 50% of the hair on my head. I pretty much resigned myself to living without that hair.
I started taking 3,000 IU’s of liquid vitamin D3 (gelcaps - daily) last fall to protect against the flu over the winter. I don’t take any other vitamins or drugs and my life style hasn’t changed since last fall. After about three and a half months, I surprisingly noticed that my hair is growing back at a rather rapid rate.
I checked the internet to see if there could be any connection between vitamin D3 and hair regrowth. I found the following information on a Dermatology Journal;
It appears that the hair follicle needs a component within vitamin D3 to initiate the action that moves the follicle from the resting state to the growth state.
Not saying it will work for everyone else, but it’s working for me.

why are you taking MSM, for regrowth? it wont do that but it will improve the appearance shiny nature of your hair and healthy appearance

how is your hair doing now?
circ and resveratrol, I guess you could try them but they are a little bit wacked out as far as potential results IMO but who knows they might work on you
if you are taking all those supps I would definitely recommend adding Maxi Hair by Country life, its not expensive either
before i started on the dht blockers i was on only supps for years
and I would never go a day without my super hair vits at that time. You should be on 2000mcg Biotin and see what that does, (maxi hair has that too plus it has MSM and horsetail though not in the higher amounts)
The truth is my hair is much better than before but I want to see if I can improve the results on my crown. I will lok into the Maxi Hair and the curcumin. The msm is not a ‘proven’ although it may help I will be happy with what is in the MAxi, on the other hand apparently curcumin has other side benefits that I might be perfect with.

if its bald as in bald area that has been that way for a while, its very difficult IMO to get regrowth on those areas with ANY topical internal, supplement any drug, even with nizoral
if its thinning only , then there is a good chance to revive it
my thinning areas recovered like gangbusters
my bald spot on the crown did not respond to anything

I buy all of my supplements online at iHerb.com. Curcumin (turmeric root) should be taken with resveratrol as an effective treatment for scalp inflammation and thinning hair. You might try the following brands: Paradise Herbs, Jarrows.
MSM should be taken with vitamin C to improve absorption. As has been stated, it will improve the texture of your hair, may make it appear thicker. Nature’s Way’s brand was my choice.
