The shedding links were on Nizoral, which Hangin’ seems to question whether it can cause a shed or not. Obviously the threads are out there- whether it’s the cream too or not I’m not sure. Seems to me it hasn’t been used by as many and as long.

The other day I was looking into what got Hangin’ so excited about this. It’s a study and a few sets of pictures, as well as some other poster who uses other things besides Nizoral. I posted some other pics which he didn’t respond to- they are from a “Japanese study” on procyanidins.

So there’s a natural that supposedly “works”…there are others that work- that he and others have never tried.

Here are the potential side effects listed for Nizoral:

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop using ketoconazole topical and call your doctor if you have any of these serious side effects:
severe itching, burning, or irritation where the medicine is applied;

oily or dry scalp, mild hair loss;

redness, pain, or oozing of treated skin areas; or

eye redness, swelling, or irritation.

Continue using this medication and talk with your doctor if you have any of these less serious side effects:

mild skin itching or irritation;

dry skin; or

headache.

Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.

i said post the shedding links, so far i see none

none of the side effects you posted have i ever seen please post those links

the nizoral shampoo is to me a bit of overkill with hydrochloric acid and the main ingredient for embalming fluid, perhaps those side effects you list are for the shampoo

those ingredients are not in the cream

so again your point it what, ? that there are dire side effects for nizoral, nizoral what? post the links

the bottom line is that nizoral is working there is no dispute about that for me and several other board members, reporting similar results. Are you saying the japanese study and the accompanying pics are not a valid study?

you seem hell bent on pooh poohing nizoral, oh it has side effects, oh it causes shedding, etc etc etc,

here is a newsflash, any supplement or topical can disagree with you and cause side effects, if this happens get off of it

I am experiencing no side effects
half of those “side effects” are protection by the manufacturer against morons suing them , they put any and everything that would POSSIBLY EVER happen, so that someone cant sue them later

its like saying, please do not drink this…On the side of a drain cleaner

protection against morons suing you

What is your problem? I realize you’re very lousy at searching for things, but Perry backs me up on this Nizoral shedding. Here’s one to help you out for now: http://www.hairlosshelp.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=10&threadid=71263

Notice it’s a recent one. Would you like a few dozen more?

They could be…nice how you move from “there are none” to: well it’s the shampoo. But no, the list I gave is from the TOPICAL.

No, I’m saying you obviously haven’t been paying attention to topicals much…and are getting excited over nothing, imo. Do you realize how long even the cream has been out, and at least used overseas? It’s the cure all over… :ok:

No…it would be like saying- don’t get it in your eyes. The ones they list are the ones known. Your ridiculous argument there would mean they’d list every side effect known to anybody for anybody.

Hangin,

Don’t let the turkeys get you down.
Most of us here would like to know how this works out for you.

As someone who has posted many pic of my own case, p l e a s e consider taking some pix of your crown so we can all benefit from your experience.

As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

If you have results like the pix you provided on the Chinese study, IMHO, you owe it to all of us who read your posts, wade through the flamers and take your advise seriously to post some pics.

It seems this board hasn’t fully recovered from all the shampoo drama.

Can we all move on now?

Thanks Hangin, I’m with you on this.

Good luck.
Peace.

Flamers? Hangin’ would make the top of THAT list.

Personally I would not use Nizoral shampoo as it is too harsh.

The Nizoral cream I cant comment on as I have not tried it - if it works for people in slowing their hair loss - good for them.

Regards
Pete

Even better i would try nizoral foam ! called extina and keto Mouse

They use the minoxidil versafoam delivery vehicle.

JACOB FYI i used nizoral for 10 years as my only hair loss treatment from 17 to 27 today.

for the 1st 1.5 years i got very good regrowth and thickening. Then for 8 years held well. I for the last 2 years i have been going the gym and the loss increased and the last 2 years i am back to where i started and slightly worse. And this is over 10 years using 1% every 3-4 days.

If u were using the foam daily which you can do as it doesn’t dry your hair as a shampoo does i would imagine my results would be better today. Their is a study on keto Mouse saying its more effective than scalp lotions with keto for dandruff. So we can assume it is better for mpb . Thats why i am trying it.

Extina should be for sale to the public this year sometime also.

I wouldn’t blame going to the gym for things getting worse…

Like Pete- if it works, great. My point is a certain individual here has poo-poo’d topicals all this time w/out trying anything decent. Then gets excited over some pictures etc. Which is why I posted the procyanidin ones in the topical forum.

I now remember the foam being mentioned as well. Any pictures? Just kidding…

you found one guy who had shedding and you are celebrating I guess

to each his own

yes post more shedding links

you need something to keep you busy

» Flamers? Hangin’ would make the top of THAT list.

Yes jacob never argues with anyone

LOL

Jacob you are jealous because I found something that WORKS

period

you are mad because you cant claim credit for it…get a life

loser

Works?

Since when is peach fuzz cause for celebration? I mean, you were telling posters (me, specifically) in the old forum that you could get peach fuzz with just DHT blockers and hair vitamins.

Or was that just another one of your lies?

i never said i could get peach fuzz on a 10 yr old bald area, with dht blockers
I stated I HAVE ZERO REGROWTH IN MY CROWN, what part of that cant you seem to read? please put on your reading glasses.

Now, when i first started thinning 20 yrs ago, i easily got regrowth, not just peach fuzz, in the thin areas…but that is easy to do when you are first losing your hair, and its just thin, the follicles are not yet miniaturized to the point that they wont respond easily…

try that on a 10 yr old slick bald area, thats comparing apples and oranges

please show us where i said that i can get peachfuzz on a 10 yr old bald area with dht blockers?

regrowth and thickening with dht blockers is easy, in thinning areas

bald areas are a tough nut to crack

but you would not know that since u have no regrowth

I was right…once again.

» I was right…once again.

about what? that one guy is shedding on nizoral whoppeeeeeeeeeeeee

post some more links or cant you find them

jacobs wish for xmas is hangin is not regrowing his hair on nizoral

pathetic when you wish bad things for other people
but that is jacobs style…he has no life
