One of the great perks in this business is that I get to meet great and famous musicians. I am an amateur. But when I work on these guys, we get to jam in breaks and after the procedure……they are very nice….maybe because their appearance is in my hands and I will make a thousand incisions in their heads that day….dont know .
Anyway , I made a bet with ……can’t mention name, that I could record an original song in one day, and shoot a film clip in one day , and then enter it into the EUROVISION SONG CONTEST, ………don’t laugh…only 300 hundred million people watch it

A few local musician buddies heard of this “JOKE”
I received a call from my lawyer , and lead guitarist, Steve, who stated clearly and in legal jargon that ….“ its on”
A dozen gorgeous models wanted to be in “my video”
It was a tough call…sheer hell…my arm was being twisted…horns of a dilemma….what a pickle….
Then my local musician buddies turned up and made it clear……do this … or else…
I somehow suffered through this terrible ordeal….and won the bet.
I then bet that I could record the chorus in Spanish (seen here).
The Italian , Polish and English versions are on youtube
Now that I am on a roll, the CHINESE (mandarin) and RUSSIAN chorus versions will be up on youtube next week. Seriously.
My Yiddish is rusty…I had Benjamins number but misplaced it……Benny, if your reading this , give me a call, need help with correct translation.
The Persian chorus will be delayed…some domestic issues
But seriously, I never wanted this on youtube . But the people involved, especially the girls, made me an offer I could not refuse……I only wish I could remember what that was…but its gone….I guess that’s rock and roll …man

Why?..because i don’t play golf.
90% of doctors play golf or fish in spare time.
I am terrible at both.
But there is another practical reason.
As is well known, my work is MICROSURGICAL, and I do every procedure personally. No assistants.
From day one it has been and continues to be a long and intricate procedure using incredibly small instruments. I remove every single graft. I check every single graft under high power magnification.
And I place every single graft under ZEISS microscope
Now, do that for twenty years and you will get RSI…that is, repetative strain injury.
In order to prevent this, and this goes for anyone who does similar intricate work, you must COUNTER the small hand muscle movement by doing exercises using the opposing large muscles in the hand.
Since a kid, I have been a guitar fanatic.
Playing the guitar, and occassionally piano, is not only fun, but vital occupational therapy after every procedure and keeps my hands in perfect condition.
Now, during time off ,I get asked to sit in with a few bands.
Its a tough choice. Blistered hands and bent clubs on a golf course…or hang out with great muscians and beautiful women…golly…need to think…
A good friend wanted to film the clip, after hearing it and Many friends wanted to be in the clip. Keeping it off youtube was impossible…as everyone had a copy of the DVD
I regard my profesion as a medical artform So in my spare time, my passion for art , and all things beautiful creative and pleasing, continues.
This song is just a latino/pop song with a European “oceans 11” feel. It is NOT high art or a masterpiece. We all know that.
But it was fun.
And maybe it will set a precedent.
Most patients know absolutely nothing about their doctor who ultimately has their appearance in their hands.
The patient sees a glitzy website, reads some occassional truth, but often total PR , misleading photos and scripted BS on forums . They meet the doctor for a few minutes and before they know it, they are gowned , on a table and signing a waiver.
So maybe we will get an insight into a few other doctors.
From some of the tradgedies we have seen, there are some doctors who must be closet satanists…i am sure they want to keep that quiet.
So doctors…we already see plenty hair PR, BUT lets see ya swing a club, catch a fish, fight for the environment, handfeed pandas or great whites…etc on youtube
