People on this forum have tried other stuff like cellular medium culturing for stem cells. It seems like plucking a hair, dipping it in ACell and then making a small incision into your scalp would be easy for a DIYer.

I think someone did buy Acell.
Don’t know what he’s doing with it though.
I wouldn’t be fooling around with making incisions in my scalp.

Compared to some of the other stuff people have tried here, that seems pretty minor.
I don’t see nearly the amount of people here that I used to 5 years ago. Did they all give up?

Most people eventually get fed up of waiting for the cure and just drift away.
You will too eventually.
I hope I’m wrong but there’s not much in the pipeline to be hopeful for as far as a cure goes.
My best guess is that a cure will not come from companies/individuals engaged in hair loss research currently. Rather it will will come from some place else. Some researcher looking into manipulating stem cells will accidentally stumble across a method of turning it into hair follicles.
The day that happens and five norwood 7 men are turned into norwood 2 with before & after pictures, that will be the cure.
Probably 10 to 15 years out if we are lucky.

I see treatments as a stepping stone to slow down my hair loss until the cure arrives.

btw - Where is for you the difference between a treatment and a cure for hair loss? For instance, if you are a very urgly bald guy in general (an extremly curved long nose, a face like Freddy Krueger, a fat ass, a belly like a whale etc etc), would be a good and skilled surgeon the cure for you?
Furthermore, whenever someone is talking about “I’m looking for a cure”, does it mean the one is ill/sick?
I’m just curious to know.

Yeah it arrived back in 2002 from Gho and whoever went there had an awful transplant and no regrowth until his clinic was closed in 2004. his patients went for repair procedures to other doctors who openly stated that there was no regrowth in the donor just a (bad) FUE procedure
Now he comes back with a new clinic and a new version of the same story…i thought at least you were good at googling, seems your googling is selective
