» fellas - thanks.

Hey MJ2003,

I will try my best to answer your concerns based on my own experience.

First of all I wish you all the best with your upcoming procedure - it was definately something which changed my life so much & had a massive positive impact on me.
Chosing Dr Armani was a great decision as I feel he is the best in the industry, hence why I chose him myself.
His entire team will look after you & give you everything you need to make you feel relaxed during your time with them.

With regards to doing renovations at home… I can remember that Dr Armani told me that its best to keep the transplanted area free from dust, therefore if your renovations involve alot of dust then you will need to protect the transplanted area with a baseball cap or bandana etc.
He also recommends not to do any heavy lifting during the first few months so maybe this is something you will need to consider.
You will be given a full post operation do’s & dont’s list after the surgery - make sure you follow it so not to jeapordise the best possible results.

In relation to hotel’s… I stayed in the Westin Harbour hotel which is literally directly opposite the Clinic & when I say directly opposite - it literally is!! All you need to do is walk out of the hotel lobby - cross the pedestrian crossing in front of you & the building is the one right in front of you lol!!
I would recommend it - it was prob the best hotel I have stayed in before.

I stayed in Toronto for 2 weeks & had a post op 5 times during my stay - they dont take long - 15 mins for one of the technicians to wash & clean the transplanted area & for Dr Armani to make sure everything is ok etc.

If I can be of anymore assistance please dont hesitate to contact me.

Thanks

Dan

thanks Dan, great help your post was. did you have a reclinder at the hotel room or did you sleep on a regular bed at an angle?

i’ll lay off the reno and lifting for a few months then. this is where the patient’s care comes in. we hear some patients complaining about poor growth and we’re quick to blame the surgeon without considering that the patient may have engaged himself or exposed himself in activities he wasn’t supposed to post op. the surgeon does his/her part, the rest is up to us.
