»
» sure.

Aye, density would not be great if this were a product about to be released. But as a Phase 1 safety trial it is very encouraging. Just step back and think about all the research that has been accomplished to get to this phase.

ICX have managed to clone cells responsible for hair growth and reimplant them in humans - and see hair grow. It’s quite brilliant when you think about it.

Whilst we’re discussing density, can someone confirm what the ‘ideal’ density is in a normal, non-balding head? I recall a figure of 200 (hairs/follciles) per sq (either inch or cm).

How do we know this is terminal hair???

Guys maybe they are 2 different patients and the results show the minimum growth observed and the maximum…

Also i dont want to make you unhappy but there is the motion here that just because it was a trial for safety as you say they did not expect growth and groth was a bonus.Thats bullshit if it works it will grow even if you do it for safety reasons or not. the result was not dissapointing but not very promising as well. Phase 2 will bring us closer to the truth.

Phase II : the first trial in which the treatment is given to patients with the condition for which it is believed it will have some beneficial effect. Positive efficacy is often referred to as “clinical proof of concept”. This phase should conclude with evidence of whether the treatment works, which patient population to target and what is the optimal dose to strike a balance between beneficial effect and side effects.

This might be the post of the year! I am very impressed if that is the same scalp in the before and after injection of an average to good responder. That seems to be at least a doubling of the hair count in that area! Things are really heating up now.
