I’m not sure if this is repeating information but there is a PDF on the Vavelta website from Kemps presentation at the FACE conference. I’ve not seen it before and I don’t recall seeing it posted. Lot’s of good stuff here, inlcuding a few tidbits about TRC (he confirms it is both rejuvenation AND Neo-Genesis), pictures of The Robot and so on.
EDIT: On page 19, if I’m not mistaken are some photos. They are very close up. The two dark marks I think are the markers used on the Phase 1 volunteers as has been mentioned before.
So the next time some naysayer complains about photos please direct them to this.
On page 19 of the PDF file that Cockneyninja posted for us, there is a photograph of a small area with two tatoo dots with better regrowth in the second photo.
Its almost assuredly of the first HM safety trial.
It notes further in the PDF file that 6 have been shot up with TRC in the first phase 2 trial and preliminary results are expected in H2 2007.
We have our “first” picture of HM-induced hair growth! And there are definitely new enlarged hairs (especially on the right side) than on the left in the 1cm circle. As the cultivation and implantation protocols get more optimized through trial and error, it will only get better and better.
Im glad Cockney found this for us. It was also nice to read the words of Kemp himself, see the ICX building, etc.

very well spoted man interesting, those are the first HM photos on humans ever i guess. I noted the reference to Stenn et al. (ARI …) on page 18, so i’m posting the article which explain the whole damn thing, so for all the geeks … enjoy
I dont think that the direction seems to be random, it looks like most hair more or less follows the same direction. Any thoughts about this?
Also I would like to comment of the thickness of the hairs. It is not that easy to make many judgments, but at least all hairs seem to have normal pigments.
It is almost certain that it is a phase 1 photo (phase 2 data is not yet available) so there is still room for improvement.
Also of note is that there appears to be a few two hair follicular units as well as the mainly single hair units. Its these twos and three hair follicular units that will provide the most density and coverage. You have single hair units in your hairline for example.
Direction also seems to be uniformed.
Nice find!!! Gives me hope

» Very interesting!!
All hair looks weird when it’s that close up. Even your normal (pre-HM) hair wouldn’t look a million miles away from the photo. I too was pleased to see that the direction seemed to be good (it all points in the same general direction).
What I also found curious was the diagram of Re-Juvenation vs Neo-Genesis, In Neo-G it seems as if the cells decide to migrate to that ‘bump’ in the skin and form a new follicle there. I wonder what that ‘bump’ (sorry can’t describe it any better - look at the pic and you’ll see what I mean) is exactly? Skin cells of some kind obviously. It seems as it the DP cells complete the recipe for a new hair to grow in this instance.

Bloody great find.I thought I kept on top of news, but not that close.Yes this must be first photos, probally from trial 1.
So trial 2 photos will be even more impressive, hopefully. They took their time on trial 2,because they wanted to get it right first time.Thats what I was told by the Farjo Clinic
Wow, a bonafide photograph of hair multiplication… likely before/after. And it really looks great, really does! I wonder though if hair direction will be a problem when the hair is longer? Even then I wouldn’t care at all! Gentlemen, in 3-5 years we will have heads of hair, it really looks good…
All the best,
BB

They have removed it! Did anyone save it? It was definetely human skin and it looked fully pigmented (dark hair), some looked thicker than others though. Not full cover of course.
I tried to se if it looked like neogenesis or rejuvenation but I could not tell for sure. Anyone else thought of this?

» did the hair look growing in natural direction?
It did not grow all over the place at least. Most of them followed the same direction, none grew in a 90 degree angle from the rest so there must have been something that guided the growth.
No, it was not a mouse. There was dark HAIR, not fur, growing. 2 photos of circular areas about 1 cm in diameter, just like what was reported in Phase I trials. And direction really didn’t look like much of a problem.
But is someone from Intercytex reading this hairsite.com forum?? What are the odds that the PDF file showing the first HM procedures was deleted so soon after it was posted on this forum??
All the best,
BB

If you look at photos you’ll notice first photo as fresh tattoo dots!.
This is as stated on their patient information sheet for trial 2.I suppose it was the same for trial 1.‘A small black tattoo dot will be made on the crown,in which 100 injections was made’.I suppose these are 1cm apart.
Trial 2 also did additional 900 injections more randomly in thinning areas as well
