I’m sorry, I went too far with that one. My apologies.
Did you just get out of HT surgery? If so, which Doc did you see and how did it go?

» Apparently I don’t as I just got out of surgery so you got me there…I
» have no life.
» so is it safe to assume the bumps were a result of something caused by the

Redman, Dr. Armani spoke with the patient personally. Ace gave a recap of their discussion.
Dr. Armani promptly called me this evening and we had a lengthy conversation over the phone that went well. He gave me his personal cell phone number to contact him at anytime in the future. From our discussion Dr. A thinks 2 things can explain the issue in my hairline.
1-the bumps are hairs ready to break though
2-the minox
I hope that this is new hair ready to grow, that would be ideal. Dr. A is sending me a minox/steroid solution to attack promblem 2, and waiting another 2-3 months to see if scenario 1 proves true (crossing my fingers). Dr. A also mentioned that its not uncommon for the left side to lag. Regardless Dr. A reassured me that if things don’t look as well as I like that 2-3 months from now that I may undergo a complmentary touch up.

good deal, glad to see he didnt leave the patient hanging.
» » Ace, If it makes you feel any better, I had some small bumps around

» » 5 to 8… They weren’t very visible, but I could definitely feel them.

» SDS, Thanks for the support. I recently have had similar experiences as

Ace, do you sweat a lot, wear a hat often? I had something similar about 4 months post op but they are more pink than what you have, I work out a lot and normally wear a baseball cap after the gym, my doctor said that’s what caused the pimple like bumps.
But if it comes to that, there is still a problem with the work and IMHO any prospective patients would benefit from knowing the full outcome of the case. Donor hair is finite.
Stingray, That’s very much the same thing thats going on with me. I see it also occurred on the left side as well. Are you currently at 13 months or beyond? When did you first notice them? I’m sure you can relate to this…How are you dealing with it?

I am currently around 16 months post op and it is still the same. I think I noticed it around 6 months or so but I guess I was hoping that there was more growth to come. I will eventually be dealing with it by having it repaired by another doctor.
Who are you thinking about going to for repair work? You should get in touch with Stingray from a thread above, I believe he’s going to BHR for his Armani repair. Just wondering who you were thinking?
