what do you mean by “high passages”? when they try to create too many DP cells from few cells?

Yes. You are exactly right.

The good news is that the resulting hairs are indistinguishable from your normal hair.

» I work at home, i am smart enough to not have to work in a job, I have
» employess who work online and make a nice income, I can live anywhere in
» the world, can you say the same?

what’s your job ? i want to live anywhere in the world but i find it difficult to do it pratically. I though i could be a porno actor (as it would permit me to travel and get laid with hot chicks who don’t care about baldness) but that sucks if my parents ever find the truth. So …what is your professional activity ? (im serious i mean)

» Thus, a first step in figuring out a consistent HM protocol is to figure
» out how to culture the DP cells in a manner that they remain viable and
» will grow hair even when cultured through multiple passages. What is being
» described is ICX’ method of testing the cells to find out the results of
» their culturing protocols.

So this is something they are going to use in later generations of the TRC may be ! not the 1st one !
The “best” HM protocol is going to be something standard …It might be specific to each one ! am I wrong !

» And they’re right. Yuck.

Far from having hang-ups about it, I’ve found that a lot of women seem to be completely oblivious to the fact that they’ve gotten fat and unattractive. They are the “last ones to know” and walk around like they are still really HOT like they once were. A lot of them still have the image of themselves when they were 21 or so – even though that is 15 years and 50 pounds ago.

Fillipo,

Your English is ok. Congratulations on taking it upon yourself to learn another language, and having the balls to post on this board in a language that isn’t your own native tongue.

On the other hand, nothing says “I’m low class” louder than making fun of another person’s efforts at speaking someone else’s native language. Especially if that’s the best he can muster in the way of a counter-argument to the points you make.

All the best.

Yes people who have the gall to say hair does not make the man, should definitely be banned from the board

how dare they challenge the 21 yr olds with no experience in life, yet who know it all

once again …nothing worth reading in this section.

Mice are very self conscious about their appearance, and this growing hair on mice, in the lab has helped many young mice especially, that who have self esteem problems, no confidence, and trouble with the lady mice, gain a new prospective on life.

Lady mice tend to reject balding mice, with thinning hairlines, but some of the older lady mice look past the thinning hairlines and try to look at the mices personality. They also look for a mouse with a good job and who will treat them with respect.

so all you guys who say growing hair on mice in the lab is meaningless, I think you guys are perhaps micists, and will be contacted by some mice Rights groups soon.

I believe their aim is to develop a single overall protocol that works on all patients. If they can’t achieve this, then maybe they will develop a few protocols, and you will have to have test patches performed to see which one works best on you. Personally, I believe a single protocol will be launched, and they will continue to improve it in the future so that it helps more people.

Hangin, you’re nuts.

Listening to a guy in his 40s tell guys in their 20s that hair won’t get them more/better women is sorta like listening to a rich friend of mine when he’s insisting to my poorer friend that money/success won’t make him any happier.

I would be laughing about it, if the total detatchment from reality being displayed by my richer friend wasn’t a little heartbreaking.

you think guys in their 40s have never been 20 something? we have been there done that, and yes women in their 20s care about hair, I never said they didnt

I said as women mature, they get real about relationships, and about the age of late 20s after they have a divorce under their belt, and have been cheated on and or lied to by thick haired guys, they realize hair and appearance doesnt make the man

I also said i have seen PLENTY of guys with THICK LUXURIOUS HAIR that most of us would envy, who were so inept with women they would have to pay a girl for her company. There is a lot more to getting girls than how your hair looks.

I said guys in their 20s are too immature to realize this, They see the whole world through the judgemental eyes of 22 year old hotties, and that. is not the real world

that is immaturity,
there are women plenty of women that age though, that judge a man by other means, are you telling me there are no balding guys with hot babes in that age group? Puleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez get real, and these guys are not all rich either

guys on this board are so obsessed about their hair, they think having more hair will make them a chick magnet, and quite simply, it wont

now in the 70s or the 60s , hair was where it is at, long haired rock singers etc was the style, but in todays world of shaved heads, Michael jordan Justin timberlake etc, girls are not NEARLY as worried about hair as you guys think

we 40 somethings have learned a thing or two in the 20 yrs since we were your age

but keep thinking you know it all, …age is wisdom

“you are right BOYS need hair to attract women
MEN dont”

Thats the best thing youve said sofar. Maybe the only good thing.

I am about a NW3 and what most girls would refer to as good looking at 29 years of age.
Im tall and have a good job with a decent wage.

My flatmate is short, bald, unemployed and just moved back with his parents at 33 years of age.

He picks up more hot girls than any of our very good looking friends and a lot more than me and I do OK.

Why?
Casue he is a man and he can talk to chicks and knows what buttons to press.

I can assure you that nomater how bald you are, if your trying to pick up girls over 25 its all about confidence.
Thats it. And in some cases a healthy bank balance will surely help.

» » PS: good find and good link …keep up the good work !!
»
» its a fantasy to think that hair will get you girls, it wont
» Watch the show blind date sometimes. I have seen guys on there that had

» many girls want him, the girl he dated just about threw up at the sight of
» his face by the end of the night, and laughed at the thought of a second
» date, and practically ran to her house when it ended.
»
» Hair will not replace a good personality, confidence, and being interested

» for company that have thick luxurious hair

Wow - what a heated debate.

Women, and men, look at a number of qualities. Yes, women most likely look at hair as part of the package, but I would think it is definitely not the only consideration.

I would say the most important feature a man (or woman) can have is CONFIDENCE.

We must all be empathetic to some of the younger guys on this forum who find hair loss to be traumatic in their early 20s. people are obessed with appearance in their 20s, both guys and girls.

Conclusion: no one is right or wrong. Everyone has their opinion and taste, but don’t think everyone on this planet is staring at your head because they are NOT.

Hangin,

I get it. I get it. You dealt with your own MPB by brainwashing yourself into thinking that it hasn’t affected you at all past a young age.

That’s a fine & good coping mechanism for YOU. Must be working out fine. But not everyone deals with their MPB that way.

Not everyone deals with it by adjusting their viewpoint away from reality. Not everyone wants to live in a make-believe world where only weak willed guys get affected by the premature loss of their looks.

Some of these young wimps are just strong enough to face this problem for what it really is. They can admit to themselves (and even to others) how much they’ve really been limited by it. This takes a hell of a lot of emotional strength too.

Cal !!! Those words touched the crystal truth in a magnificient way… I would not have said and described that “will to face it” better than you did !

I want to add one more thing, the temptation to reject the truth and just keep going is so strong but if you have been through out all your life the kind of strong person who does not give up his convictions you will neither be able nor appreciate to make such an illusion for yourself .
