Cortisone injections into areas of alopecia areata are quite a common practice. My sister, who suffers from time to time with AA, had the injections about 15 years ago. They did little to help her with her quarter-sized bald spot, which grew back eventually on its own. They are used to put the brakes on the immune system in the local area of injection.
Well thanks for the demo. maybe for me or maybe not. To be honest, a lot of girlfriends say I look better with longer hair, that is, longer than croped. Of cause if I had my way or any of us for that matter we should just shave and be done with it. Looks good on you though. BTW, think hard about the drink. I know a few with problems there and … you probably know the rest.
i think they think they know about hairloss remedies and they hear a lot about them, but they dont really want the ones they recommend to work TOO WELL
they would be happy if someone invented one that would at most stablize ones hair
but hey, how much of their business is repeat transplants as guys continue to thin year after year?
that would quickly evaporate if even someone found a hair loss regimen that simply stabilized your hair where it is at now
its a bit of a conflict of interest to ask one of them about hair loss remedies
its like expecting a world famous chef to give you the recipe for his dish…he would not cut his own throat by doing that

Marco,
I was exaggerating about the drinking thing. Thanks though. When/if you buzz, send a pic here… get some opinions. I know that this might be difficult, but we care about ya.
Jttelcom,
Yes I knew that cortisone is used in Alopecia Areata… Did MPB tell us about if he had that or not. I might have missed it. If he did not get that diagnosis, then I was worried. He said he was having sheds around stressful situations. ANyway…

When you make the paste… what did you make it with?

Dutasteride is an oil so just cut the capsule and dab a tiny bit of the oil. No need to do anything else.

We seem to be in a similar boat, please post after pics of your scar repair.
Scarring tends to be worse behind the ears because the skin is less felixible in that area. That’s what I was told.

With your response here & the one regarding that azzholes comments about Prince Harry.

Sure Damon- as soon as I feel there is something worth showing, I will post them. If anything, at least it feels better than that itchy raw skin. But you’re right- the area behind the ears is a hard place to get grafts to grow. Maybe my only hope for that area is Acell. Man it sux being a repair case but I just feel that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. There just has to be.
