Cal, What isn’t in the probably still 5-10 years out pile? Also, I would like proof. Bazan, Gho, Intercytex…2 years away turned into 5 which turned into 10. More realisticly…we have nothing.

LOL. Go back over the years (10 years or so) and see how many times we have been within “5 years or less”. We’ve been within 2 years…lol. We’ve had other promising companies that were the best hope we’ve had at the time that turned out to be nothing.

I saw potential in Acell. It looks like it most likely turned out to be nothing. Oh well, you’re out nothing anyways…because all you ever had was nothing. You can talk s*#t on me all you want, but at the end of the day, all you ever wanted is something to give you your hair back…and you have nothing. Most likely you (and I don’t mean anyone in particular) will come here for several years (reading about the science behind hair loss…becomminmg “experts” in the field of hair loss) only to realize that your main goal for comming here was never accomplished.

I’ve had transplants. My results are pretty good. I would love HM to come out and give me the “full” head of hair that I truly want, but all in all, my hair looks pretty good (I’m happy with my hairline but would just like to have thicker hair). I’ve been hoping come new technology would come out to accomplish this, but most likely, that’s not happening. I will most likely go back and have more HT to get my hair as good as I can and move on.

To all of those who are giving me a hard time about this…you’re just Monday morning quarterbacks. It’s easy to sit back and say “I tole you so” after the fact. You guys have made no effort to become involved in helping yourselves…you’re just content to come here and read about your PIPE DREAMS and wait… for nothing…lol.

Problem is, you guys are putting Acell in the “5-10 years” category when it doesn’t even deserve that. Some things will just never produce hair, and Acell is one of them. You may as well put sand or gravel on your head. It ain’t gonna work! I’t just that simple.

I was a strong supporter of ICX, probably the best supporter in this forum, and some people (JB, for example) said that I has an agenda pro ICX, and against Gho and others.
But also, when I started to see evidence that ICX was misleading us, I started to research actively, and I became the strongest critic against ICX.
And then people attacked me for being a negative thinker.

But your case is different: you have proved that you will still be an Acell supporter, even after a lot of evidence has presented that suggests that Acell-HM is a fräud. You don’t have any intention to seek the truth. If you had, you would have been applauding all my posts that Ï have recently posted against Acell.

As far as raising peoples hopes…at least Acell was tested now…that’s better than raising peoples hopes FOR YEARS and then letting them down.

  1. THEORETICALLY, ECM PROMOTES TISSUE GROWTH.
  2. ACELL REPRESENTED THE MOST ADVANCED FORM OF THIS TECHNOLOGY AT THE TIME,

Aderans is obviously the most verifiable possibility for near-term HM. The FDA’s trialing process indicates it is a viable possibility to be on the market in 4-6 years if there are no more new setbacks.

Believe it or don’t believe it, I don’t care. It’s not a sure thing but it’s the best hope we’ve currently got.

The only other HM program to ever get this far was ICX, and we were already seeing cracks appearing in their story by that time.
