You guys are on the board spouting off about Follica and Acell, and I thought gee at least one of these promising treatments have been tested on humans , or why are we getting so worked up about them.

Then Cal comes on and says oh Follica grew hair on a MOUSE…lets wait until something has been tested and proven on HUMAN BEINGS before getting so worked up about it, shall we?

Or we can keep talking about and getting excited about mice and dog fur and horse hair.

Well I don’t know enough about Hanging’s regime to pass judgment, BUT hanging himself admitted that he doesn’t have hair on his crown (generally speaking, that is the easiest place to regrow hair). Clearly there’s room for improvement in that regime, and clearly there are options (ie combining his topicals with Acell perhaps).

Hanging used to be the “maverick of alchemy”, but now he’s all about bringing drama to this section. At the risk of catching flak, it almost seems like hanging’s a bit jealous that baccy has become hairsite’s new poster child :smiley:

I believe the only thing of value he uses is ketoconazole. The rest of his regimen has never been shown to do squat for MPB, yet he advises people to use it.

Have a look at your skin Hangin, you’ve already tested ECM, it is what regenerates your skin, and other soft and hard tissues.

Also lesser ECM’s have been tested on humans and have been succesful.

Acell is ECM.

Hangin’s right, Folica has never even been tested on humans.

We have no reason to believe it’ll work at all. Tons of things work fine on mice but not on people.

If history has taught us anything about HM efforts, it’s that’s the most likely outcome is lots of hairs on animals but not a single hair on humans.

  • Allot of us have regimes we don’t advertise (myself included) because we don’t want to promote, as you said, “a crapshoot”. By contrast, you do promote your regime/ “crapshoot” in your signature, so it’s natural you’ll catch some flak for misleading people.

  • Allot of us don’t repeat the very obvious fact that new technology may fail. You keep repeating it’s “delusional” to talk about “technology” in a “research” forum. That’s not pessimism, and to be frank I have no idea what that’s called.
