Hi all,
Been 2 and half years since my transplant now!

update pics taken with my cell phone at my work place,i use american crew wax in my hair!..sorry for the quality!
my before pics and procedure details can be found in the linked journal in my signature.

You shaved the back of your head? I can’t tell for sure but it looks like that’s what you did based on your pics.

yeah it is high fade!!!not exactly shaved …

I remember your pics, i thought you were a repair patient, you don’t have any scars showing even when you wear your hair this short? (I couldn’t tell from the pics)

fastforward —yea the scar shows on the back but i can live with it as it is not very obvious,its kinda slight density difference at the back but not too bad…

cueballbob—haha,not really,its not exactly bowl cut!!google high fade and you would know…

Hey Hairlove, are you able to take better pics of the back where you think the scars may be showing?

hey was your first hair transplant a strip? What happened to the strip scar when you buzz down your hair like this? Doesn’t it show?

Hairlove it’s awesome that you can cut your hair this short, can you post better pics, especially pics of the donor? You had strip done, am I right? I don’t know how you are able to pull this off.

i will post the better pics when i get the time,my camera battery went kaput but the pics will be up soon!

i do get really short cut sometimes and the scar shows but it is not that very obvious,somehow i feel that unless they are really into reading about HT,people in daily life are not able to tell or may be they are being polite!idk

Now because i do like shorter haircuts,i may get Fue done into the scar in future but i am not in any kind of compulsion because the strip scar isnt very bad either and i can live with it showing a little bit with fresh haircut(im able to hide it after 1-2 week growth)

Hairlove that scar is very obvious but I give you credit for shaving it down like that and as far as scars themselves go it is very good. If it doesn’t bother you most people seeing it could probably care less.

Can I ask you why your hair density looks so patchy or maybe that’s the camera?

Very good post for those considering a strip.
