Feeling like Supermen soon hopefully

Last evening, i was really down, you know those days when you look at a mirror and can’t even imagine what u r seeing (or not seeing) on ur head and u just think how life is so unfair to you and u start all the way down to depression, then one thing struck me:

I dont know if anyone of you have ever imagined what would be his reaction when, while watching TV or reading the newspaper, he hears that HM is open for clients.
I think all of us here will feel kind of superior to other humanoids  i mean that internal peace we’re gonna be in will have no match except maybe for those healed from uncurable cases or diseases…

I think the amount of happiness will be huge enough to allow us regain a Super confidence and wash away all those years of anxiety, emotional breakdowns etc…

Even if we dont get it immediately just the thought of knowing it’s out there is rewarding in itself: WE ARE NOT LONELY WE ARE JUST WAITING FOR OUR TRAIN TO ARRIVE

That was beautifully put my friend. As beautiful as Byblos.
Just to keep the smiles going, lets pretend that HM is only 1 year away not 4-10 YEARS as predicted by Docs. What will be the first thing you will do with your new head of hair?
Honestly,If this process will regrow hair in my scar tissue as well as regrow me a head of hair…The world would see a comeback the likes of which it has never seen before.I would go from loser to GOD overnight.
If only……If only……

hey Damon

nice to know u r familiar with Lebanon (Hello Habib was cool man :))

Anyways, In response to your question, I think the first thing i’ll do when HM arrives is the same as you: Yes believe me i would turn into a GOD overnight (XERXES from the movie 300 to be more accurate :))

IMO, i think ICX will reach the expected goals, If Phase 2 trials were successful, then u’ll start the Heavinly feeling taking control and i think they will be successful that’s why i dont think i should feel desperate or anything like it and u should do the same MAN

These are indeed GOOD DAYS. AMEN

Just imagine Tha Moment when we will for the first time see the hairs coming out from the bald skin.

Apparently a newbie and YES in case you haven’t noticed: YOU ARE THE ONLY PESSIMIST.

The problem is you are jumping into a conclusion u can’t back up with any valid info coz u have none.

So please when you assume something like “never getting ur hair (Not hairs)back”, please back it up with some info other than ur negative, childish personality

This is a great point I actually contemplated before. I used to be somewhat of a fat child, and now, years later. I still draw immense satisfaction from being fat no longer. Most of the kids who made fun of me for being overweight are now overweight themselves and in worse shape than I am. Similarly, there will be many people who have full heads of hair now and will not get HM when they start balding in the future. Because of our awareness, we will therefore end up with better hair than many others.

Hey guys that day even Hanging will become friends with the shampoo cult :).

A lot of things will change.

Hair site should organize a big party and we will all be invited and we can meet and say remember …that post or that post…like everything was in the past.We will get drunk and laugh we will say goodbye and go on with our lives…

The only thing that can ruin the party is if while we are drunk kramer or hitlerspeak say to hanging “nice hair, remember not to wash them for the rest of your life or you will end up bald again”.I see all hell broking loose again!!!

ICX is showing this recent time great professionalism and I am confident of their ability to bring HM very soon.

Big salam to Lebanon from Morocco LebaneseDude

Take it is easy on biston, who knows what he has been through.

If a person just started balding or is bald but not scarred by surgery then he can’t help but be optimistic.

I also seriously doubt I will ever see my hair.I hope I will but it’s hard not to be negative.I have been balding since 15-16 years of age,I had a HTP only to end up looking & feeling much, much worse.I tried all the meds & lotions & despite some initial success they all eventually stop working.I have had NO life for 10 YEARS.It’s hard not to be pessimistic when 10 years of your life have passed you by.Who knows how biston has suffered.
If you’ve been in jail for 20 years, been to the parol board 10 times, refused release 10 times you loose hope of ever being released. When your parol meeting approaches you don’t care because you have been disappointed SO MANY times before.

People have a right to be sceptical.Intercytex hasn’t provided a shred of evidence that HM works. Not a single picture, not a single proven fact, only their word that a few people grew 66 hairs. We don’t even know if they are thick vibrant hairs or fine blonde ones. All we have to go by are rumours & personal opinions from people on this board all of whom aren’t in a position to make predictions.Check the old forum, last year guys were insisting/ predicting that hm would be released this year, hell even I believed them. Now the same guys are making the same b.s predictions for next year. That’s a very selfish & cruel thing to do.

I hope with all my heart that HM comes out this year or the next but ICX aren’t in any rush or pressure to release a product anytime soon. The fate of mankind doesn’t depend on the success of HM.ICX will release it’s product when it is full proof. That could be tomorrow or 10 years from now.
The task is huge & I commend them for being brave enough to tackle this problem but common sense should tell you that we are still a long way away from a commercialised product that will give us a full head of hair.

The whole purpose of this place is to express opinions & discuss different points of view.

As for problems in Lebanon, the “Paris of the Middle East” will never be what it once was.I hope I am wrong about that & wrong about ICX.

It really would be nice if we could all meet up with a full head of hair. Maybe we should make a pact that if HM comes out & we are all freed from our curse we will meet ?
If I am still alive when HM comes out & I can repair the damage done to me then I would definitely be at that party.1st round of drinks are on me.

one day closer to the cure.

There is a big difference between this analogy and HM science. Another parole meeting is just more of the same, whereas science keeps advancing, changing and improving. Just about every single breakthrough in science is preceded by a string of failures. So cheer up, even if just a little, because the inability of science to provide a cure for baldness in the past is in no way an indication of what’s to come, just as the failure of mankind to fly before 1903 was in no way an indicator of the viability of flight.

Hey Damon,

I feel for you, man. I’m in my late 20s and I’ve been balding since about 15 years old. And I’ve been trying everything only just to barely slow down the inevitable. Sometimes when I’m walking in a crowded public place I stare at people’s hairline/temples or imagine people bald and how much worse they would look… But have you tried getting a wig/hairpiece, damon? They can look damn realistic these days, though it can be a pain to attach/remove. Honestly if Intercytex doesn’t come up with something in the fall I’m going to have to take the plunge and get a wig/hairpiece.

BTW, I think the biggest hindrance to a baldness cure is that it is still not viewed as something to be medically treated (in men). But in reality it is an inflammatory disease!

Okay, I have to stop thinking about this… let’s all hope for an HM cure!

All the best,
BB

I know what you mean about starring at peoples hair.In the rare occasions that I am forced to be in public I spend all my time starring at bald guys heads, admiring them for shaving their heads & moving on with their lives.I even stare at guys with awesome heads of hair wishing I was like them. This hair obsession is bad, really bad.Often these guys will look at me & wonder what the hell I am looking at.
I tried a piece years ago,it’s very uncomfortable & there’s the fear of being exposed.
Now that I have a massive scar at the back of my head I cannot possibly wear a wig.I cannot do anything but wear a baseball cap 24-7.
Truth be told, baldness doesn’t bother me anymore, the scar does.
I am contemplating shaving my head bald & moving to Thailand.I wonder if I get a sun tan if the scar will blend in with the rest of my head ?
Moving to a cheaper poor country where no one knows me is a better option then what I am doing now.

We lost hair at around the same time so I do know what you are going through.Learn from me,just shave your head really short, get a sun tan & be done with it.You cannot win, don’t take meds, don’t have surgery & f**k a wig! Just shave your hair short & move on.It will be hard at first but you will get used to it. I don’t know if you have someone in your life but believe me,when you meet someone who loves you for what you are you wont even care about hair anymore & you will be the happiest man on the planet.

I really hope you take my advice.
Good luck
Damon

Hey Damon,

So I tried shaving my head a year ago – kind of a “test run”, if you will. And frankly I hated the entire look, I didn’t even feel like me anymore. I looked like a cancer patient and although they were kind about it my friends/family agreed with me.

As far as your scar – a wig/hairpiece covers things up, so why couldn’t it hide the scar? Also, since you wear a baseball cap why not just wear a wig, since both are covering something up? Finally, scars can be removed/reduced using lasers (check out this laser call the “fraxel”).

Oh, and as far as someone in my life, ugh, that’s the problem. I know for a 100% fact it is more difficult for me to meet women now than 5 measly years ago. It’s the truth, but I must face it!

Okay, this is too fucking depressing… honestly, I still think I’ll get a wig/hairpiece if things keep getting worse in the next 6 months…

All the best,
BB

You will get used to it & so will they.Don’t forget, the new poeple you meet wont even know what you looked like with hair.Cut it really short, not bald & as your baldness progresses you can cut it down shorter.

My scar is a result of strip surgery. The area at the back of my head was sutured too tight killing of all the hair.I have approx 5cm wide scarring from ear to ear. To make matters worse, something is going wrong with my hair & I am losing hair really badly.Oily, ithcy scalp with increased hairloss. Soon I wont have any hair to attach the wig too.Besides,I have never heard of a wig being placed at the back of the head.No wigs,I would be to paranoid.
My scalp is too tight to excise the scar & lasers are a croc of shit.

If it’s going to help you then go for it.
