Brushing Alone Cured Hair Loss

What type of baldness was the woman experiencing?

How does “brushing the scalp” help to reverse MPB[male pattern baldness]?

Regrowth is not for the faint of heart

Heil Wookster. Finally a guy with some common sense. We need more like you here.

Brushing your Hair may regrow some hair. I do not know in what level though.
It is simple… as said before you create better circulation that brings better nutrition and as it goes… The same implies for scalp massage.
I do it all the time!

But we can not say that shampooning our hair will cause hair loss.

Diamond: How do you clean your scalp that is, your hair and skin from the dirt and the oil (oily scalps).
If i dont shampoo my hair the next day, i can produce massive tons of oil, the one for diesel engines 20/60W! (just joking!)

On the other hand, We don’t have the right to criticize drugs that MAY stop hair loss and in some cases regrow hair… These drugs are on the market because they do something! They May Not for all people, but do for some.

As mentioned before about Intercytex, i would like forum users to keep in mind that Intercytex tries to do something that will help humanity. Intercytex apart form hair multiplication studies multiplication at all ranges.

» But we can not say that shampooning our hair will cause hair loss.
Yes we can. I do it all the time

» Diamond: How do you clean your scalp that is, your hair and skin from the
» dirt and the oil (oily scalps).
I have stated this several times already. I use a home made topical I apply night and day. After I apply it in the morning I rinse it off in the shower and my scalp and hair is squeaky clean.

» On the other hand, We don’t have the right to criticize drugs that MAY
» stop hair loss and in some cases regrow hair…
The drugs/topicals I mentioned (Rogaine, Hair Farming, etc.) did absolutely nothing for me so of course I have the right to criticize them. This isn’t an issue about political correctness.

Why stoop to their level?

You have some valid points. HM may be a pipe dream or maybe not. Some shampoo may or may not accelerate fallout. It’s all speculation really until someone provides some proof. Why does it have to resort to name calling etc. Be the bigger man.

Peace.

Last year I purchased a makeshift laser brush on eBay. What can I say, I was desperate. Anyway, I used it 3-4 times a week for 15-20 minutes at a time, brushing my hair/scalp with bristles, and the additional laser beams.

I’m probably a norwood 4, so I have some hair, not completely bald. After about 5 months of this, I saw no positive results, and stopped.

brushing or ANY regimen whether it be prop or vits minerals dht blockers etc
can only do so much and has to work with what is there

if the follicles are dead not much they can do, but if they are alive if the hair is “thinning” in that area it can revive the follicles most regimens that are decent can

no regimen, in my opinion, can revive dead follicles

I’ve read many reports from laser brush users on the popular hair forums stating how the laser brushes were totally useless.

I posted a blog about a guy that tested the laser brushes on himself and actually ended up with less hair after using a laser brush. I’ll post it again if I can find it.

Less hair with Hairmax laser comb use…

Here’s a breakdown of what I found in the macro photos that Hairmax presents on their LaserComb site.

Macro Photo Set 1 - Before picture:
HairMax’s hair count: 107
My hair count: 115
Of these hairs, 12 were miniaturized

Macro Photo Set 1 - After picture:
HairMax’s hair count: 148
My hair count: 128
Of these hairs, 10 were miniaturized
See the image on the LaserComb site

Statistically, the percent difference between the before and after photos (according to my count) is insignificant. Therefore, in the first set of photos the LaserComb made no real difference.

In the second sequential set of photos, I discovered that the after photo actually had less hair than the before photo –

Macro Photo Set 2 - Before picture:
HairMax’s hair count: 147
My hair count: 161
Of these hairs, 12 were miniaturized

Macro Photo Set 2 - After picture:
HairMax’s hair count: 184
My hair count: 159
Of these hairs, 10 were miniaturized

See the image on the LaserComb site

Yes, I actually counted three fewer hairs after the LaserComb was used. My measurements of the data on their official site do not support the findings they offer.

The hair is thinning, not completely dead. The constant brushing, nor the lasers, improved the existing hair.

To HangIntThere

I have brought this question to this forum a lot of times, Do follicles die?
Some say no, some say yes? Nobody with a stated straight answer!

My own experience is that , if they dont die, they sure as hell stop responding to treatment

my sides back and top front, have thickened to almost as thick as they were in high school from my current regimen, those ares were only thinning when i added DHT blockers in 1999

but my crown which has a bald spot has had ZERO RESPONSE, absolutely NOTHING
in my opinion if those follicles are not dead, they sure as hell are resistant to being revived, perhaps some miracle topical but I doubt it, topicals and me do not agree

Topicals don’t “agree with you” because you insist on using poisonous shampoos that bathe your follicles with corrosive chemicals and I would bet if you think about it you probably start your shampoo application on your crown which would have a devastating effect on the hair there.

if shampoo causes baldness, then explain horseshoe pattern male pattern baldness

explain why 10s of millions of men who use shampoo never go bald

wow, as usual another thread with about 20% useful information and the rest just people arguing. Well anyway…

Back on the original topic, I think this could work on the hair. I’ve been doing skin brushing over my whole body (not the scalp) with an all natural brush the last few weeks. It sounds gay, but I did notice a difference. The idea is it removes dead skin cells, circulation, and helps the lympth system. It helps the skin breath and remove toxins. My skin has been really looking good. I could only imagine this could help the scalp as well. I plan to try it.

As for shampoo, I notice if I don’t shampoo, my hair looks and feels like total crap. I use morrocco method shampoo so I don’t feel like it’s doing that much harm, if any. I think shampoos with chemicals in them are harmful. For those that don’t go bald from it, it’s probably the same reason teenagers don’t go bald. I’m not sure what that reason is, but I’m sure they’re the same reason. The crown is probably more prone to balding as well.

Hey p_r…finally someone with an open mind other than myself or Kramer.

I have been brushing about 1.5 years now and my existing hair is strong and healthy as can be and continues to fill in.
Since you have an open mind and shows signs of intelligence you might want to go to the GetItBack forum and talk to the other guys.

Next…you said “teenagers don’t go bald”…
Well, many of them certainly do start experiencing hair loss in their late teens (forums like Hair Loss Talk is loaded with them)and it seems to be effecting them much earlier than ever before.

After many years of shampooing that starts in childhood the corrosive effects of shampoo start to manifest itself as balding as early as the late teens. This is how shampoo gets you and you don’t suspect a thing until you start balding.

You have not answered the questions

why do 10s of millions of shampoo users not go bald

why do men lose their hair in a horseshoe pattern if shampoo is the cause while women lose it in an overall pattern

It’s like the question asked about why don’t all smokers get cancer?

The lucky ones that don’t go bald have a genetically better tolerance to the damaging effects of shampoo.

Yes, that’s the answer Diamond Dave but Hangin’ and the others won’t accept it. They will continue to believe that shampoo doesn’t cause baldness just watch.
