» I really don’t even think he EVEN USED ACELL on either of those patients.

» This concerns me greatly because some young kid is gonna see this , run to
» him for a transplant because the cure is here then have to live with the

» Google the other doc he has a shady past as well.
This doc sounds pretty shady.
I’ve never really been that hopeful on ACell … that said one thing that always made me go “hmmm” is that the ACell formulation apparently contains Laminin 511 (sp?), which apparently does have hair growth capability.
I wish Dr. Jones had tested it on donor areas, not just a scar area.
We still need to get some Acell powder and try it ourselves. I would do it if I knew where to get it.
We’re basically sitting around hoping that some transplant docs will take medical risks and spend money & effort in an attempt to render their entire profession obsolete.
Think about this: PRP has been around for such a short time, and it has already been tested & offered by at least a couple of clinics. Whereas Acell has been around much longer (it was used on humans in the military YEARS before it was even commercially released) and we don’t even get many bites on TRYING it, let alone taking the idea farther.
Q. How do we explain this discrepancy?
A. Well, PRP stands to make HT clinics money. Acell stands to put them out of business.
Well I’m all game. If there’s a will there’s a way.

I don’t understand, we already know that beard HT’s can grow w/o Acell…the fact that they failed is quite curious…

» That’s true.
