I use once in the morning after I shower and once at night before I go to bed. I use them seperately, Rogain first then when scalp is almost dried I use Crinagen. I am also taking Propecia but hoping to stop the drug soon.

after showering seems to be a popular time guess the pores are opened up or something thats when the guys on the nizoral cream in the japanese study applied it
so just leave it on all day? My scalp started itching yesterday after about 2 hours so i rinsed mine off

Hangin:
Yes, a hydrated scalp SIGNIFICANTLY increases penetration of topicals. Therefore, topicals should be applied 10-15 minutes after you shower to achieve maximum absorption. This is the basis of the theory of using occlusive wraps to enhance penetration - an occlusive wrap can be anything that covers the surface such as plastic wrap.
Hangin’ is looking into topicals?

only after viewing the regrowth pics of gc1961, cant argue with those pics and the regrowth on a 15 yr old bald area

You may find using a specific TOPICAL may help in the frontal regions and another TOPICAL may help on the overall scalp. Hence, it may be a good idea to apply them at the same time.
» do you apply it after you shower?
Apply your TOPICAL AM and PM.
» how long do you leave it on?
Apply and then massage.

I find that the rogaine sometimes leaves my hair greasy if i use it right after the shower.

Hangin you should definitely keep an eye on that itch that you experienced the other day.
Getting any irritation from a topical is a bad thing in my opinion, hence why I don’t use any topicals (ultra-sensitive scalp).
