What can we do to invite the Hair Research Community to make this their Home?

President

http://www.hair2013.org/hair-societies.asp This is a list of the Various International Hair Research Societies that participated in the International hair Congress annual meeting, they have one society of researchers for each continent. they seem to have a few hundred members each society and listed presidents etc contacts on site… we should get together not just cos of mutual interest of curing this condition, but cos they need members and we need members and there is some cross exchange that could happen here, as they have no live forum like this for all their members to share research etc…,…Plus they want attendee’s at their conferences and to get their monthly research reports on research in hair loss,… I think they’d be active here and there would be a mutual cross exchange as the community for hair is so small & needs funding badly as there are no medical grants for it.

Very impressive post

please stop bumping up old threads with your remarks of how impressive you find them. You’ve been doing this constantly for the past few days… and it’s starting to get a tad annoying. Also, letting us know how impressed you are is certainly not a major contribution. So kindly stop that, thanks.

I suspect they will hold back info until they can cut a deal with them getting some payoff.

Right now I would say that Dr. Nigam is our best bet and Histogen looks the most promising of all the treatments out there unless the cellular transplants prove to be compoundable. In that case it would be a tie.[/quote]

Researchers for the most part are employee’s and independent ones are dependent on contracts for money.

Fact is there is absolutely “0” medical grants right now for AGA research, as said by AGM in this thread, so no real concern about researchers holding cards close to chest, for the most part they aren’t working on hair… what is filtering down is material that is often piggybacking on other dermatological research… Ever notice that the main drugs for AGA are hand me down prostate meds and considering CB by Cosmo, which is again piggybacking on Acne meds.

Researchers need money, funding, grants… so they can focus on research, stopaga.com is in the process of inviting the Presidents and admin staff from the Hair societies http://www.hair2013.org/hair-societies.asp since they have no site of their own to communicate with members worldwide and stopaga.com offers them a private international forum with private message and message board, and Dr. Nigam says he’s already there along with everyone here practically now with an open current invite to move things forward.

With the Hair societies on board, perhaps to boost their membership to… stopaga.com now has the ability to form a base to listen to valid proposals by researchers and arrange funding.
