He decided to go for a staged approach, using a combination of strip FUHT with triclosure, FUSE from scalp, chest and beard.

He chose an ambitious, youthful hairline.

He has reached the 60% stage in his hair restoration and is happy with the progress.

He plans to continue and cover all the bald areas of the scalp.

That’s an excellent job.

Two things:

  1. I applauud you for your persistence in body and beard hair transplant. If we are ever going to perfect BHT in the future it will be due to surgeons dedication and persistence such as yours.

  2. I notice that after every single beard transplant, the post-op pics show the beard slightly growing out. This does not prove that the scars are not visible, but only proves that the scars are not that visible because the beard is covering them. I think we would all like to see the beard shaved clean, and THEN have the photos taken.

Can you provide this gentleman’s face shaved clean and then post his pics?

How many grafts did he get and what were the numbers from each individual donor area?

How many months post-op is he?

What’s his medical treatment status like?

The patient is not on any hairloss medications (personal choice of patient).

He has recieved 6408 grafts (3783 FUHT 1101 beard 620 chest & 904 scalp FUSE)
in multiple procedures starting January 2008.
His last procedure was carried out 8 months ago in August 2008.

He leads an active public life and shaves regularly. I will request him for his clean shaven facial pictures.

In April 2009, another session was carried out to transplant the crown swirl area. 1925 grafts were used in the procedure (675 scalp FUSE grafts, 982 beard and 268 chest grafts).

one. When this case was initially presented last
year, noone gave this guy a chance. He must be very
happy with the result. Keep it up.

Thats damn good for only 6000 grafts. Some posters actually thought this was a non doable case. Proves point that with the right attitude and thinking, anything is possible. Of course, a talented doctor is essential.
Vineet has good beard growth. He should be able to cover his crown with beard hair alone. Good luck and keep on posting follow up. This is another case I will follow keenly.
