A couple of interesting things going on with HST that I’ve read about recently.
For one, Dr. Cole has expressed interest in looking into HST. He seems to be fairly receptive about the theory behind HST so it’s very exciting to see a cutting-edge surgeon who produces great aesthetic results show interest in HST and make an effort to look into it further. Most of you have probably already read about it, but the thread is here on hairsite: CIT Results with PRP/ACELL/ATP - Dr. Cole - 1.999 grafts. Unfortunately, there might be some issues with bringing HST to the US.
I was listening to TBT radio show today and HST was discussed. Spencer Kobren has been in touch with Dr. Gho and is planning to have an interview with him soon. Apparently, they’ve already had long discussions about HST and there’s a potential issue that might come up with bringing it to the US. Most of us already know that one of the key ingredients for the success of HST is the growth medium solution where the extracted grafts are stored and given a boost. Apparently, one or more of the ingredients in this growth solution is banned by the FDA which might prevent HST from being offered in the USA anytime soon. It seems that clinics have shown an interest in it but the biggest obstacle is this growth medium and the FDA. Hopefully, we can get an interview soon to clarify all this.
It took Spencer 4 years to realize that there are better things out there other than strip.
Dnt worry abt bringing it to USA, bring it to Mexico city, its close, cheaper labor. US can keep practicing gold standard while the rest of the world is gettin HST
Yeah TBT radio sho, they will find downers all the time when the have to, as long as Spencers benefactos can sell their strip operations to people. The FDA works in a country where people can eat junk food crap which obviously induces cancer, like fat, sugar combinations and diabetes or worse and then they cry about some storage solution? Wowsers
Am i the only one extremely impressed with Coles honesty? He even admit that he had bad results with certain approaches, while other clinics or people like topcat who are Umar shills, always say no downsides at all etc.
Man i really hope that Cole and Gho can work something out together.

» Cancer? Who cares. GIVE ME HAIR!
Hair is here, as long you have good donor, you should be cured by Gho no problemo.

Unfortunately my donor is likely to thin too. But that is probably 20-30 years from now.

You have family history of nw 7s? I don’t and i am worried I may not be a candidate for Gho’s treatment.
I am a full blown nw 4 or so. I wished Ironman chimed in and told us how to make sure our donor won’t thin out.

Ya. My paternal grandfather at 88 is a NW 6.9. My dad at age 50 is a NW 6.5.
My dad’s donor looks similar to this (except gray):
He probably started thinning around age 40 (went NW6 at about 30) and I’m 20.
Histogen will hopefully help with donor thinning. Maybe minox does too?

No disrespect to your father but this is why I don’t have kids yet. I refuse to pass this f’d up gene to my child.
So you’re saying your father’s donor started thinning 10 years after he was a norwood 6?
That doesn’t sound so bad.
Even if you transplant your new hair on top that should last a long time on your head.
You could use a future treatment on those new hairs to prolong their life on them, I guess this could be possible.
