TricoScience response to email - re: Website shutdown

So I guess my email got their attention lol. I didn’t want to post on the trichoscience thread because it was too long, and the website shutdown part is right in the middle of the thread - may be hard to find.

Anyway, this morning I emailed them and within a few hours they responded as follows:

"Would you be kind enough to inform me and the hundred members or so on the hair loss forums as to why your site has been shut down for such a legnthy period? And when are you expected to put your site back up and running? A straight forward and honest answer would be appreciated rather than beating around the bush. And please give me the courtesy of replying to my email at your earliest convenience, unlike last time where you never responded.

Thank in advance,

Medical Student of University of Toronto,

Hello MJ,

First off, we respond to every inquiry. We’ve looked through our email for the past four months and find no message from you. If something has fallen through the cracks, we apologize.

As for the website, important changes are occurring with the company, reflected by a new CEO (a medical/clinical expert) and team who are taking over from our acting CEO Matt Wayrynen. Matt is a venture capital and corporate development person, and he guided the company very well to its current phase – including raising the millions needed for R & D. As we proceed further into our trials, we need different expertise – especially with regard to trials protocol and regulatory matters. The new website will reflect this transition. Don’t know yet when it will be active.

Thanks very much for writing.

Regards,

having their website down is not a good signal, but it seems that we shouldn’t worry too much.

thanks for posting the email.

I think they figured the website served to real purpose or had any merrit for that matter. It’s not like they’re out there panhandling. They’re undergoing changes now with respects to their CEO, etc., and this will follow with more changes with regards to their trials and updates - so they figure to put the site up when all the changes are done.

So it’s terrible, but we shouldn’t worry? Gotcha

Well, at least now we know (or think we know) why they are changing their website. Initially, I thought it was just a revamping effort, given how crappy it was before, but the fact that it has been down for a week gave me second thoughts. Changing the website due to changes in content would understandably take longer than a simple remodeling.

If they are answering emails, (personalized replies, not the automated cräp) hiring new CEO, etc, it doesn’t seem they are dead.

It’s just a website … it’s not like the state of the website affects the state of research, otherwise companies like Intercytex should be doing great since their website has always been on the up and up.

Sounds like they’re moving into a deeper phase with trials, which is actually a good thing.

for what it’s worth… i thought it was a nice, personalised reply…

What’s this have to do with Aderans?

He’s saying since Aderans didn’t respond to SpanishDude, they must be dead.

:ok:

By the way: I’m just preparing a report about TrichoScience, their history and all about behind them. I’ve BIG doubts, that you guys will be happy about this report. :expressionless:

Anyway, I think its time to explain something about them, and I’m going to start a new topic, as soon as I’ve finished this report.

sorry but you have lost all credibility by slamming people… claiming they are too lazy to read instead of simply explaining what they are misunderstanding… u obviously know that you are wrong and u are unable to explain your point thats why you are acting so immature.

First of all, your post has absolutely nothing to do with TrichoScience. You can ask topic related questions within the specific topic. And by the way: NOBODY is asking me there, I should “simply explaining” something. And on the other hand, it isn’t my ride (Dr. Gho/Aderans), it’s Spanish Dude’s ride …
http://www.hairsite.com/hair-loss/board_entry-id-64447-page-0-category-1-order-last_answer-descasc-DESC.html
… because HE is blaming Dr. Gho, so HE has to find and to explain all others the truth - that isn’t my job.

So WHO is acting “immature”?
And WHO is “slamming people” and Doctors/Researchers like Dr. Gho, without knowing about what’s going on behind the scene??

But YES, I’m “slamming” therefore sometimes some guys - but I’m NOT slamming any “people” in general. Just sometimes some specific guys - that is correct.

By the way #2:
Sorry, I’m not finish with the report about TrichoScience, because I often have to check specific points repeatedly, before I post something public. But I think, within the next 1 - 2 days, you will get my informations about TrichoScience.

By the way #3:
I personally have nothing against Spanish Dude. Maybe he has something against me, but I have nothing against Spanish Dude, to make this point clear.

What follows is about TRICHOSCIENCE …

haha duuuude! No way! U of T med?! I plan on going there if I don’t decide to ditch Toronto for NY, LA or Miami! But I am a U of T undergrad! That’s awesome haha. Koodos to you for getting into U of T med though.

Me? U of T med? bahaha No man, that was only for them to take me a little more serious  I’m a law man, not medical.

No offense, but what will make your findings and perspective on Trichiscience so special where everyone will take heed to it? These forums have seen their share of prophets plenty of times. Unless you have concrete facts and evidence, don’t waste your time. The only thing that will ever bring anything to light is “time”.

It’s interesting you bring that up: “time”.

For example:
They claim to work serious on a HM procedure/therapy since 2000 - right?
So what do you think, WHY an (previous unknown) HM-team/company need far more time for the development, like e.g. Aderans (2002) or e.g. Histogen (2007)?

Did you ever saw a serious scientific research paper by them, like serious companies like e.g. Aderans sometimes published such papers, or even Dr. Gho did it in the past? “Stealth Mode”? Really?

But you’re right. It’s just a waste of time to explain the “why’s”, because “time will tell …”.

This is very interesting, I don’t think they would have pulled the website because they are gone. According to all the events in the past 12 months on this company and the pending announcements, changes in corporate structure, addition of strategic resources such as Erich Mohr and now a change in the CEO placement things could be really heating up in the background. Someone mentioned the “mother” of all stem cell genes. Maybe these guys have already figured that out. I think they are getting ready to move to the next stage of the process. It just seems there is too much credibility for these guys to just disappear so soon after adding key resources. Erich Mohr has supposedly started a number of successful companies that eventually sold and are now part of very successful bio companies. I can’t see him getting involved in something that’s a flop.

Hairloss researchers have a tendency to go underground(read: disappear) after they get funding. Its not like they are skunkworks or something…cause unlike skunkworks, hairloss researchers have always failed to show anyprogress…except for few hairy mouse.

So don’t assume anything positive out of this!
