Dr. Wong and Dr. Shapiro were also chosen to perform surgery on a patient during the live patient showing. Dr. Wong performed surgery on the patient’s hairline on one side using lateral (perpendicular) slit incisions, while Dr. Shapiro did surgery on the other side using sagital (parallel incisions). When the hair grows out observers will then be able to evaluate whether there is a significant aesthetic difference between these two hair transplant techniques.
