The New Tool

After seeing the photo of Dr. Feller’s new instrument and reading other posters reactions to it, I would think that with FUE being delicate and very fine work, the new tool could be somewhat cumbersome. I don’t know its dimensions, weight etc. so that’s not an informed judgement.

What I’m really interested in is finding out what other doctors think. Cole, Woods, Hasson & Wong etc. I haven’t seen any input from any of them.

It’s trade secret, no way they will disclose what they use. Feller is different because Feller is trying to profit from the new tool, I think he has formed a new company just to sell the new fue tool, so it makes sense for him to hype it.

It is mindbogling why so many institute are still hiden their techniques and instruments used when performing FUE.
This is what sets us apart from most other FUE practicionars > open policy.

In fact today and over the next few days our team has been asked to help an Hungarian clinic getting started with FUE. Our team is over in Budapest and showing them all the things necessary.
It is in our own advantage to have high quality FUE offered. Everyone knows that strip procedures are not in demand anymore. We need more good FUE because more and more people are finding their way to hair transplantation again thanks to this virtually non-invasive method.

The future will tell if dr. Fellers new tool is hype or not. I believe we need to be open for change and give it a try, why not?

for what should you give such a tool a chance
this thing simply to big

too big compared to what. is there something we dont know but the people claiming this thing is too big knows? what is big? what is small? unless one has something to compare it to…how would you know what is too big or too small? i’d like to know, because i’ve never seen any…big, small, medium,
x-large. so those who say this is too big, have u seen any other one?

all fue doctors i saw ,use pencil thick fue extraction tools
and this tool is much bigger
in the other thread on this site we talked about this
i copied my comments here now in

"in the german forum there was a discussion
that its better to work without that
a turkish woman surgeon uses such a tool
her consultant also misleaded the german forum
in my opinion the tool is just to big
to handle with it

for me this is just a driller which has
now the smaller fue needles in it
i dont think even there is even new
technic in the housing
it appears such big as in the times
when i had a ht in the end of the 90s
there were driller used at some clinics
for recipient holes
and for extracting with about 4mm (some butcher clinics
are doing this also today)

an innovative instrument would be ,to get a much smaller housing
of the instrument
then the next point is,i thought bverotti and other consultants
had the same opinion, that the surgeons need the feeling, when they
cut in the donor"
