Man, you should try them (curcumin/resveratrol) out. I think that you will notice a great improvement in the condition of your scalp.

I was kind of broke for awhile, and could not afford the 25 bucks a bottle that even Saw palmetto costs here, but now i am back to where i can go in and start getting my regimen, i will look for that here but i seriously doubt its available

its like a dry desert here the choices

i need to just order a bunch from the USA and ship it,

seems to be a lot of discussion of this on that other natural board

It’s been roughly about two months since I started taking curcumin with resveratrol and I have noticed a huge decline in shedding. It’s too early to say anything about regrowth but the shedding has almost completely stopped. I went from losing roughly 200-250 hairs a day to nearly 10-20 that I can count. I think that’s a huge improvement. I am also a little bit different than most people since I was on medication that was making my hair fall out and the added stress from my medical condition seemed to cause TE. Whatever the case is once I was off the medications and my medical condition “went away” I was still shedding.

I am currently taking (daily);

Resveratrol 160mg 2x
Curcumin 500mg 2x
Saw Palmetto 450mg 3x
Biotin 1000mcg 1x
Maca 525mg 1x

Not that it matter but I shampoo with Niz 1% (I’m a freak and only use it because I like the smell.)

Suggestions for any other supplements? Like I said I think I have currently stabilized my loss which I am happy about. I am also glad that I decided to take the natural approach instead of taking prescription medication to manage my hairloss.

Stopping the shed is a HUGE first step, toast. Congrats, man!

I would say a good chelated multi mineral would not hurt , pygeum and nettles work in a similar way to saw palmetto but in a different pathway i think, they enhanced my results when i added them to Saw Palmetto

How much is the biotin supplement you are taking> why not just take a maxi hair or two every day, cheaper and more effective

agreed the stopping shed is like heaven sent when it happens
nothing makes you happier

HI TOaST

i too have been having TE for 4 yrs now since taking GUGGULSTERONES. I need to take curcumin. I believe this is the real deal now since it downregulates TGF and TNF b which are probably what guggul did to me.

are you still there?

i have been told about curcumin from my doctor, and i have one spoon every morning of pure powder mixed with olive oil that i put in a glass bottle and store it, i just have to make enough mix for a week, because it cnat stay longer than that, and you just down a spoon every morning with some tea, it taste of nothing and it is absorbed better with oil, if you dont like olive oil just use any oil you like, i am starting a herbal treatment and adding some hearbs in my food, to keep my hair as lons as i can without drugs

I am regulary providing my hair vith vitamins that are needed for healthy hair growth. Read some info about that - you can find some advices on the web for example: Hair loss vitamins

Eat a balanced diet. Nutritional deficiencies, eating disorders and excessive amounts of certain vitamins, such as A and E, can cause hair loss.
