“Traditionally the only way to fix severe burn wounds is a skin graft. Skin grafts are highly painful and generally leave huge scars. With this new process scientists include some stem cells in the mix which allows hair follicles and sebaceous glands develop in the new layers of skin”
So basically you’d have to light your head on fire, and then get treated for 3rd degree burns with this spray-on Skin treatment and three weeks later start regrowing a full head of hair. Piece of cake!

» in other words… follica is on the right way
Interesting … but would the hair follicles in the new skin return to their initial state? Or would you just be regenerating what’s already there (MPB afflicted scalp)?
EDIT: Re-reading the article it says they take skin cells and cultivate them first and then “spray” them back on … I suppose what they could do is take skin cells from non-MPB areas of your scalp and then spray them onto the balding area.

This treatment is primarily for burn-victims. In which case, you’ve already damaged/destroyed your pre-existing follicles. Anywho, I just found it interested that they found a way to regrow hair for burn victims but didn’t bother researching the technique to find a cure for baldness.
