Speculation on what Thomas whitfield is cooking?

I give it about 6 months before this whole discussion happens all over again.

And then in another 6 months after that. And so on.

ive read hes filled patents in the uk. does this patent apply globally? or just for the uk?

I just read a load of stuff on Mr. Whitfield posted in the two prior threads on him.

My view is that he’s being somewhat unfairly and over aggressively attacked.

Lets wait to see what he brings forth instead of unloading on him. I know he’s inexperience and comes across as more of a marketting person (or maybe even as a crook to some here) than a scientist.

Still, lets withhold judgement on the man before we see what his invention is. If every researcher is treated with such disrespect, there will be nobody willing to enter this field or even take a risk of doing anything that might end in failure for fear of the ridicule and scorn.

My personal view is that what he has is probably some laser comb type device that will prove totally useless for baldness.

He’s given a timeline of 2010 to 2011 to release the preliminary results of his findings. I’m not going to be drawn into judging him until I see what his supposed discovery is.

i agree with what you say but not about the laser brush part.

he says in the telegraph interview:
“Current treatments don’t work properly or they are inconvenient or they are simply very, very expensive. We have come up with a solution that’s quite easy and much cheaper.”

current treatments are inconvenient -ie applying topicals - so he may not be working on a topical for daily application like minxidil

very very expenisve - ie hair transplants

“If things go according to plan, we will be able to launch our first products during 2010/2011.” - so he’ll be releasing a series of products???

he’ll be releasing a series of bullsht… he is a dumbass please lets not discuss this retrd

the guys first picture that we saw was with him laughing his a** off. Propably he was laughing with us and how he is gonna s c a m us. From the moment he launched that site everything came to place.

As you go to that site and give hits or giving donations or buying products then he has won and we prove to him even more that we are desperate i*iots that believe everything

so why and on what, do you think hes filled a patent??

remember the patent of that guy who claimed hairloss resulted from hot showers… and developed a cold shower head or some nonsense?!

u can file a patent on anything… even things that dont work… perhaps the only reason he filed a patent was to impress people like you who think he must be on to something since he filed a patent.

there was an article in the same newspaper, (the telegraph) that had a piece regrading the future cosmetic advnacements to come, i cant seem to find the piece now but,

In that article there was something regarding baldness, in that there would be something released which would prevent baldness from occuring by protecting hair stem cells but would not actually regrow hair on a bald head, its not a coincidence the same newspaper published the article on thomas whitfield.

Nothing. Whitfield is cooking absolutely nothing.

any members of trx2 recieve any emails, updates???

he’s probably cooking meth or something… that would at least explain his behavior…

about being secretive??? he has a very valid reason to be secretive.

uk patent information
http://north.patent.gov.uk/grace.pdf

this doc seems to know something???

Dr. Glenn Charles

“Is there any current literature on this trx2? I am curious to know if this a treatment for MPB or a way to stop it from occurring in individuals who are genetically susceptible.”

i cant seem to post a link on here for some reason??

from bald truth talk forum thread/
showthread.php?t=1266

notice they say “early stage”

“Oxford BioLabs is developing a medical device for the treatment of early stage androgenetic alopecia (AGA), which is commonly known as male and female pattern baldness. Available therapies include drugs or hair transplant surgery, which treat acute symptoms but lead to side effects, hospitalization and unsatisfactory patient outcome. Currently there is no cure against AGA and new treatment options are urgently needed.”

I’m curious to know what he has as well.

Oxford would not be backing a moron. He’s getting funding so he must have something.

i agree, i have donated and have been in correspondance with them.

they say an update is sheduled sometime this year.

any hints on what it might be ?

Hope its not another laser comb. That was be a total washout.

It says on here, http://www.oxbiolabs.com/ that they are performing pre-clinical studies on each of these paths.

1 - Hair Restoration and Re-Growth
2 - The prevention of hair loss
3 - A cure against AGA

Whether you choose to believe them is another thing, personally I will wait to see what they have to say before dismissing them completely. We’re not really in a position to do anything else anyway.

I’m skeptical as the claim is so broad. But I’m waiting to hear what his discovery.

First man to find a cure for baldness deserves a Nobel prize.
