"Shuffle"/Dr. Hasson Patient/5200 Grafts/3 Years/Strip

» » » Hey Joe:
» » »
» » » Just curious, do Dr. Hasson and Dr. Wong do their own implanting of
» the
» » » grafts, or do technicians do some or all of them?
» » »
» » » Thanks,
» »
» »
» »
» » That’s incredible…how much do they usually charge per graft because I
» » wouldn’t mind having those results!
»
» It is incredible but not everyone is blessed with good donor like this
» guy, I am sure he has more than average donor density.

Isn’t that irrelevant? They only used 5200 grafts on him, most people can spare 5200 grafts no problem, even if they are very bald.

» Stitch and ABC,

» Your comments are greatly appreciated, really. Thank you. You guys need to
» understand something however and that is that we are not closed minded to
» FUE. We never have been and in fact, while you may not know this, we were
» one of the first clinics in North America to offer FUE. SHOCKER! It was May
» of 2003 however we pulled back because we felt it just wasn’t ready for
» prime time.
»
» We have one philosophy that stands above all others. Most patients are not
» millionaires and this is not an easily affordable procedure. Patients
» deserve to get the most bang for their hard earned buck and properly
» performed, well done strip is what gives it to them. Period. We will always
» be cognizant of improvements in the field and we have always been a clinic
» to adopt techniques that we feel benefit the patient. Some we develop
» ourselves, some we don’t but closed minded we certainly are not.
»
» Again, your comments are appreciated. Look for more results soon:)

Are you saying that FUE will be very expensive at your clinic? Why not offer both FUE and STRIP and let the patients decide.

Stitch,

While that would be the case (no more expensive than other top clinics) my point was that patients expect optimal growth AND naturalness, etc. etc. and they want to have the best chance for success. For each graft that does not grow from any procedure the average cost per graft rises not to mention you’ve lost a graft that you can never get back.

My point is we wish to offer the best value for the patient and that is why we continue to do what we do. Our patients want a hair transplant to get hair and understand that there is a trade-off in that they cannot shave their heads. At the same time though these patients are not interested in shaving their heads to begin with. They’re interested in styling their hair.
