“Shuffle” shot some video of his results after his 5200 graft session with Dr. Hasson just under three years ago. The intro to each video summarizes his surgical history.
insane, thats all i can say its so dense, i had the same level of hairloss as him, yet i only have a fraction of what he has on top, and i bet ive spent twice as much as him. i wish that was me

This is just another monotonously amazing result from your stable!
I enjoyed my telephone consult with you. I have not taken things further, mainly because of extra-ordinary pressures at work but also because I remain somewhat in a fruitless denial that I will need an HT Actually more importantly I need to remember that it will be 8 months after an HT before I reap the benefit.
Anyway, if donor scar issues were not a concern then I think there isn’t a sane poster (NW4 and above) on the board that would not have you at the top of the list (by those criteria, not many then:-) ). Is it possible for you to begin to detail the realities of the donor scar at H&W. Other surgeons that I have spoken to admit that the numbers of grafts that you can use would be problematic for them using strip. There are many theories out there as to how you do this and, of course there are those that say the scars must be wide. My take is that you undermine extensively in the donor area but on talking to you this did not seem to be the case. More donor pics and maybe more details of this aspect would be great.
Either way, bakasha (as ali G would say) to your clinic! Excellent!
I would rather ask myself do I have 5.200 grafts on my donor area?
A lot of people don’t
I’m one of them. I have officially been rejected by doctr Bisanga who was honest enough to tell me that at the very best he could have got 3000 grafts out of me. That number of grafts applied to a NW 6 is going to look ridicuolus.
YOU’VE GOT TO SEE THE DOCTOR IN PERSON, ASK HIM WHAT YOUR DENSITY IS AND HOW MANY GRAFTS IN HIS ESTIMATE YOU COULD GET OUT OF THE PROCEDURE.
TELEPHONE CALLS MEAN NOTHING.I REPEAT TELEPHONE CALLS AND PICTURES SENT OVER THE NET MEAN NOTHING. NO MATTER WHAT THEY TELL YOU. i WAS TOLD BY JOETRONIC THAT I WAS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR HT. HE BASED HIS ASSUMPTIONS ON THE PICTURES I SENT HIM AND DOCTOR HASSON. PICTURES SRE MISLEADING BOTH FOR THE PATIENT AND THE DOCTOR. PERIOD.

It is incredible but not everyone is blessed with good donor like this guy, I am sure he has more than average donor density.
» » How is that possible with only 5000 grafts?

I agree. You have a valid point especially when strip is involved. Are there donor shots?

Marco are you saying that they get these results at the expense of the donor? I don’t see how the two are relevant, donor and recipient, it’s like apples and oranges. 5200 grafts will always be 5200 grafts however you harvest them, my question is actually how they managed to cover so large an area and create that kind of density with only 5200. Whatever they did to the donor should have no impact on the recipient, true?

Sure, but they are removng a lot of hair in the strip and it would be good to see the donor area to see how much stretch there is if any.

Jotronic, any chance Hasson+Wong will change their mind about fue one day? I haven’t seen results like this from any other clinics, it would be nice if your doctors can be more open minded about the possibilities with fue, it’s a shame to totally shut it out, IMO.

well said, they are obviously doing something special that no other clinic does, imagine if they could transfer the same skills to fue, what do they have to lose?
Your comments are greatly appreciated, really. Thank you. You guys need to understand something however and that is that we are not closed minded to FUE. We never have been and in fact, while you may not know this, we were one of the first clinics in North America to offer FUE. SHOCKER! It was May of 2003 however we pulled back because we felt it just wasn’t ready for prime time.
We have one philosophy that stands above all others. Most patients are not millionaires and this is not an easily affordable procedure. Patients deserve to get the most bang for their hard earned buck and properly performed, well done strip is what gives it to them. Period. We will always be cognizant of improvements in the field and we have always been a clinic to adopt techniques that we feel benefit the patient. Some we develop ourselves, some we don’t but closed minded we certainly are not.
Again, your comments are appreciated. Look for more results soon:)
