That prospect set hundreds of hair-restoration specialists atwitter at a late-September scientific conference in Las Vegas, where transplantation expert Maria Siemionow presented research that many believe will make such a thing a reality one day.
I would try it if I was a burnt victim with no hair and have to take immunesurpressants anyways after getting a face transplant.
Frankly I wouldn’t mind where the hair came from but would be concerned just because of the side effects of all the drugs that I would have to take. But I’ve heard from my immuno prof that life qualities of those on immunosupressants have improved hugely.
I wouldn’t do it now, but any new options and research are welcomed
