Patient nicknamed S3 underwent an unsuccessful hair transplant somewhere else. In Sept. 2010 he underwent corrective surgery at Dr. A’s clinic, 2275 FUHT grafts were used in the hairline and the frontal area. He is happy with the result so far.
Dear forum readers and fellow HT doctors,
This is one of interesting cases I encountered in recent times.
Unlike most people, S3 has a natural swirl pattern in the forelock area. The previous transplant was performed disregarding this swirl pattern.
This is an educational case for many new doctors entering the field of HT. The graft placement was performed merging the swirl pattern to the previously transplanted hair.
I think it is very important for doctors to realize that a natural appearance is often more important to patients and that each case needs to be customized.
There is no one pattern that fits all.
This case reminds me of Zayden - not in difficulty but in the hair direction and angle pattern.
Regards,
Dr. A
The video does more justice to your work then the pictures. Excellent work. S3 must be very happy with the outcome.
Who did the previous ht if I may ask?
