Repair of hairline using 3,000 grafts from Dr. Feller of Great Neck, NY

This patient had had a transplant on his hairline at another clinic prior to his visit with us. He was left with a cosmetically insignificant “haze” of hair because they used old style minigrafts and not nearly enough hair.
We decided to pack out the hairline with 3000 follicular units in a dense pack. We also decided to lower the hairline a bit more on his left side since he combs from left to right.

Wow his hair is so thick! Can he spare 12,000 grafts from his donor? This guy will always have a full head of hair.

Only Armani can take that many grafts out of the donor :slight_smile:

He still has some good donor area left. Enough to cover the top if he loses it up the road. Since his father is not completely bald we think his hairloss days should be behind him for the most part, but you just never know. As for now he can go on with his life without being self conscious about his hairline. That’s what it’s all about.

Wow! Nice growth there Dr Feller.

What was the density in the recipient area? 70?

Is it the same density through out the recipient area?

(Offtopic- wow the gentleman has amazing density behind the transplanted area.)
