Question for the surgeons or others

I have an unusually high density of follicles in the centre safe zone. This has been determined by two clinics as 230-250 / cm2 in terms of follicles. Could this be dealt with by FUE???

You have a very high number, but I think they are referring to hairs/cm2 vice follicular units/cm2. Otherwise, you are like a “mink”. Average hairs is 180/cm2 and 80 FU/cm2 at my consultation according to cole.

Very good nonetheless!!

sorry, I am loosing it but checked the documents. Armani had me down as 170 follicles!!! / cm. I have to admit that I can’t remember what MHR units were in. It is high though.

Don’t ever ever call me a mink:-)

You should be able to get a pretty darn good result with that density!!

My question was really wether there would a big danger of transecting surrounding follicles.

That sounds like a common sense question Marco.

I don’t know if “Monk” airs outside the US, so for those of you who aren’t familiar with the TV series, It’s a comedy about an obsessive, compulsive detective. For example, in one episode, Monk is questioning some guys in an office break room about a murder while getting totally distracted by the coffee maker’s uneven levels between the regular and decaf. When he can’t stand it any longer, he pours coffee from the regular into the decaf to even them out.
Monk is obsessed with things being consistent, even and in perfect order.

I have a great idea for a new episode… Monk notices that his temples are receding unevenly, so he decides to research his hair transplant options. The consultation and surgery day could make for some priceless comedy.

CERTAIN threads in the online HT forums could provide the Monk producers some very useful obsessive, compulsive material.
