I would like to see the studies on the Nizoral cream and recommendations / evidence for its optimal use. I couldnt find the posts for the guy you say had good results…link please? Could you please provide?
Thanks,
Eric
I am an infrequent poster. I noticed hair loss about 6 months ago…pretty dramatic thinning in the front 1/4 of my hairline. Hairline mostly intact but thin now (shiny scalp spiked). Since then I tried propecia but stopped due to ALL the sides. I started your regimen with not much hope but once I added beta-sis I noticed a significant difference: Itching is the tell-tale sign for me that im losing hair drastically. My first fall out started after i used an economy brand shampoo that led to itching that wouldnt stop. (i stopped that brand) Afterwards itching seemed to precede most my fallout. When I was on propecia it went away. When I stopped it returned…after being on beta-sis it went away again (within 2 days). So currently I am on your regimen and the itching is gone/minimal. When I slack a little on the regimen the “sensitivity” of my scalp increases its a good check for things. Anyhow I think I am still thinning slowly and ordered the Nizoral cream to try out.
Anyone else noticed the direct connection with hairloss and itching? If so it is a good early tool I think to see if something might be working for you…

i noticed that for sure
i used to get it badly when i was not yet on the dht blockers , after i added saw palmetto in 1999 it gradually went away
i think it is the sebum causing it, and also the dht seems to activate it,
the dht blockers seem to also block some kind of auto immune response at the base of the hair follicles although not as well as nizoral seems to stop it
i will look for the nizoral links , they are on the topical board

Yes this is the IMMUNAL ( inflammation ) response and it can be tackled topically via a topical and a shampoo.
