I know it’s normal for grafts to shed, but is it normal 8 weeks after a HT for you to see no signs of the grafts being placed on your scalp even though after surgery there were scabs all over the place of new grafts? I had FUE. An area on my top and crown that was pretty much completely bald that had scabs covering the entire bald area now shows no signs of anything really.
Thanks for thoughts.

If I understand you correctly, your new hairs will not begin to grow for awhile. It all depends on the person. If you see no sign at all of anything done to your scalp in those areas receiving FUE, then your surgeon has done an excellent job and you have not been left with any noticable scarring. Give it another month or so and you should start to see regrowth.

That’s probably a good thing. No retained hair fragments, no cysts or pimples, and at 2 months, probably no new hair. Give it another month or two.

Thanks for your reply FIT. When do you think I should start seeing some stubble from the new grafts on the bald area?

I would imagine about 3 to 4 months. Remember, when they first come through, they may be very fine at the tip, and less pigmented, therefore a little difficult to see. Keep watching!

I’m 1 week short of 4 months and this is exactly what is happening.
