Can you add a dry eyes category under the side effects question? I see the dry skin option but not dry eyes.

Has anyone seen the survey results for question 4? I find it very bizzare that over 40% of the voters experienced side effects that are not commonly known about finasteride.

Every single week I see guys in their mid 40s and upward being prescribed finesteride

In Australia, before any drug is allowed, big pharma must make everything about the drug, as far as they know, transparent and published…here its a massive book called MIMS.

In a small corner, under INDICATIONS, they state, that EFFICACY IS NOT ESTABLISHED IN MEN OVER 41

But over the years I have seen countless men over 41 being prescribed the drug.

If you have a box, take out the leaflet, grab your magnifying glass and read it…or go to the pharmacy, and politely request that they pull out the industry standards book and read it

I really like the best kinds of discussion about hair care as one of the most ropecia than can really make the difference thanks for provide us the best information about hair care…

Thank you for posting that study Dr. A, the study only involved 16 test subjects with 13 men in the control group, that is too small a study.

Dr. Woods, it is probably because they have not tested the drug in men over 41 years old. I doubt there is anything in particular about men over 40 that makes the drug useless for them.

But interesting observation nonetheless

Hair loss at a rate of 58, 72, and 100 percent in groups of men receiving placebo, versus 14, 17, and 35 percent hair loss in men taking Propecia

For the question about side effects I recommend adding an option that shows that it would not experience side effects. There is an “all of the above” option but not a “none of the above” or “I did not experience any side effects”. So I couldn’t answer that question. But overall I think this is a good survey.

Best wishes,

Many such pills have many side effects, so before you start taking them, I recommend that you consult a specialist.

haartransplantatie is okay with this?

Please consult with a hair expert or surgeon before taking any supplement. For more information, please schedule an appointment with Bizrahmed Hair Experts.

Honestly, before taking any pills/medications one should go and consult with different hair transplant surgeons. Because as per my experience i didn’t see any improvement in propecia hair loss.
