Plz help with nizoral

I bought nizoral cream 2% the other day.

I usually have about 25 hair sheds a day.
iput the cream on wednesday, i woke up the next day wil a lot of hair on my pillow. My scalp in certain areas feel inflamed only if i touch them with my fingers. i m sure i didn’t put much. and the shedding has increased to almost 60 a day.
I rubbed again tonight/saturday, and this is the 2nd time, almost 40 hairs fell while i was rubbing it in.
is that normal? has anybody experienced that.
my scalp is not red

plz any advise from those who have used it before

I didnt have necessarily a visible shed with niz cream but after 2 mos i had noticeable thinning in those areas

scared the crap out of me i never had that before
stopped it after 2 mos

it grew back much thicker later
than it was before i started the niz cream

still i dont like sheds, that unnerved me

Stopped my shedding? i did not have any shedding to stop before the niz

i did not notice shedding with the niz, just thinning and then i stopped it and it grew back way thicker

just unnerved me the thinning, maybe though it is part of the healing process, shocking the weak hairs out then they regrow stronger

Its very harsh and can alter the immune response in the wrong way - suppressing it too much locally :frowning:

So its safer to use a safer alternative Piroctone olamine :slight_smile:

So wait, just to clarify… the cream makes you shed initially and but ultimately the hair grows back thicker?

I dont know if I would call it shed
the cream initially made me thin considerably in the top front later it grew back much thicker yes

niz shampoo is much too harsh
it contains HCL hydrochloric acid

gets rid of dandruff but so would a blowtorch

I tried the shampoo many years ago.
and my god, i would come out of the shower with a tomato scalp, very harsh.
