i 've been using rogaine for 40 days.
it says that u start seeing results after 3 to 4 months.
so my question is : if it is going to grow hair , does that mean that before that the hair loss stops completly before the growth?

has any of u regrew hair on recently thinning spots while using rogaine?

Hi,

I have been using minoxidil for 5 years. My problem was / is in the frontal 1/3 of the head and mainly in the hairline.

After the the first months of minox use my hairloss decrease significantly and my hair become thicker. As for the hairgrowth, it was minimal. I got some thin, blondish short hair and a few terminal hairs.

However, now - 5 years later - that my temples have recceed a bit, minox continues to give me this hairgrow in these areas. I find it possitive because although these hair are not cosmetical sigfnificant, the follicles are being kept alive.

So, in sum, I could say that i didn’t get significant regrwoth from minox. BUT, it decreased much my hairloss ratio. Moreover, i didn’t use any dht blocker. Only minox and nizoral shampoo.

Be patient. Minox may give you hairgrowth but except this, it can improve the quality of your hair and halt hairloss

the thing is im’m norwood 5 and i lost huge huge amount of hair in the last 4 months. so i got on rgaine and some natural dht blockers hoping to get back some of what has recently departed :frowning:

Since the major hairloss was so recent, you probably have good chances to succeed in regrowth!
