Pelage Pharma PP405 reactivates dormant hair follicle stem cells

one more molecule, one more company…year after year

@baldlatino34 not another study on mice, they started human trial already !!!

Good point, actual trials on people not mice

This is very promising.

I see that Drs. Heather Christofk and William Lowry, the discoverers of this compound, no longer have bios as active faculty members of the UCLA biochemistry department. Actually a good sign because it tells me they’re working on Pelage Pharmaceuticals full-time. For two research professors to quit their faculty positions to work full time on a startup is a bit risky so it shows they have a high degree of confidence in this treatment.

I think of all the developments in the pipeline currently this is the most promising for the short term and has the greatest likelihood of getting to the market pretty soon.

See here

According to the article, UCLA provided the seed money and Pelage has agreed to be sold to Allergan. Seems like a low risk venture with high probability of success.

This sounds promising,fingers crossed

Good find,I actually have hope for this coming to fruition
