When I lived on campus near Washington, D.C. I found out our water failed to meet national drinking water safety tests!
What about filters such as Brita or PUR ? Are they effective in cleaning the water? I use Brita at home and can’t really tell if they work or it’s just a waste of money. I figure it beats drinking directly from the tap.
