Not Seen Dr. Baubac's Patient Reviews -- Why is That?

I’ve been reading through hair transplant forums for a while now. And I see patients reviewing on their doctor’s work, whether good or bad. But I’ve never once came across recent reviews by Dr. Baubac’s patients. This is a bit strange. Anyone mind telling me why this is so?

Not sure why you couldn’t find any, here’s a recent review by one of their patients

Only ONE review?? And no photos to back it up???

A number of patient’s have shared their experience on this forum as well as other places:

You can also read many of his reviews here, where patient’s also have posted photos of their results: https://www.realself.com/find/California/Beverly-Hills/Physician/Baubac-Hayatdavoudi#dr-reviews

Also, many of Dr. Baubac’s Results have been posted in the forum:

Hi, I appreciate the links especially the one to realsoft. There I saw many pics of patients. But no testimonials attached. Can you explain that especially given that armani boldly claims to have the most published results than any clinic in the industry? I just dont get it. Why if there are dozens or results on realsoft are there no comments/reviews by patients?

Another thing is, I asked for the contact details of actor Eric Dean who got his transplant at armani (link below). I never got a response. And why is it that he himself doesnt post any comments also?

I’m not trying to attack you. I’m just trying to make sense of what I should be seeing and trying to be careful. Thanks and I’ll await your response.

Yes, I can indeed explain this.

You said “But I’ve never once came across recent reviews by Dr. Baubac’s patients” which even the admin of this site found to be a bizarre statement, seeing how there are many testimonials on this site by Dr. Baubac’s patient’s that a simple search would have brought up.

After posting links of testimonials for you, I also sent you to real self to find additional reviews to help you in your research, there are many testimonials and reviews written on real self, just as there are many here. But instead of looking, your demeanor continued to come off attacking and aggressive. “But no testimonials attached. Can you explain that especially given that armani boldly claims to have the most published results than any clinic in the industry? I just dont get it.”

Also, we do not “Boldy claim” anything. We were awarded the Most Published results in the United states status, it was awarded by this very site. It was an award that we earned.

Further, Mr. Dean was kind enough to allow us to use his commercials and let us showcase his amazing result, basically announcing to the entire world that he has had a procedure. A very kind gesture on his part. Instead of seeing that for what it is (a kind gesture on his part to allow us to showcase his result to other patients), you once again come off as aggressive “And why is it that he himself doesn’t post any comments also?”

There are ways to do your research, but attacking a clinic isn’t the way to do it.

We wish you all the best in your continued research and your procedure with a different clinic.

Here are the testimonials and reviews by Dr. Baubac’s patient’s on real self that you couldn’t seem to find:

Hair transplant is a surgical procedure, there will be risks involved. There is no one doctor who is the best for every patient. Every doctor has something different to offer and every doctor has at least one patient who claims to be unhappy for whatever reasons.

There is also no guarantee when it comes to hair transplant. If you have the slightest doubts about a procedure or any particular doctor, the best thing is to not do anything at all. There is nothing wrong with going bald naturally and gracefully.

It sounds like Dr. Baubac’s patient testimonials are falling short of your expectations, there is no point in forcing yourself to rationalize one way or another. It’s best to move on and keep searching until you find a doctor whose credentials meet your requirement.

IMO, you should put off the idea of getting a hair transplant for a while. I don’t think you are ready for it at this point. Just continue with your research and give it a few more years and see if you still feel that hair transplant is the right choice for you considering all the risks involved. Many pulled the trigger too fast and found themselves going through repair procedures for many years down the road.
