Nizoral Cream (Keto) Application

Hello, I just recently bought some niz cream from inhouse. I was wondering exactly what is the right way to apply it? I am going for a all night application, everyday. I saw a japanese study about this, only using niz cream. So I thought I’d give it a shot and see if its reacts well for me.

I assume I put it on after I shampoo, but what I do not get is do I apply it to a wet scalp? If I do, do I still dry my hair with a towel, or does that wipe it away? Do I apply it on a wet scalp, and just leave it there for the night? Without toweling or drying? Or do I apply it on a dry scalp before I go to bed?

What’s a good way to go about this for better results? I’d hate to be applying it in a way thats just wasting the cream and doing me little or no good. Ask the veterans I say.

Oh and, inhouse pharmancy sent me something called Spirotone, in tablet form. What are these? I guess they just threw it in as a bonus. Have they been known to do this? I wasn’t charged for it anyway.

Thanks for anything you guys can tell me. It is very appreciated!

if you apply it after shampoo the problem is how many times per day do you shampoo, are you going to leave it on 24 hours?

I applied it during the day a few hours before i was going to shampoo, on a wet scalp. that was patted dry, and left it on for a few hours then shampoo out

be prepared for a shed though

Thanks for replying HanginInThere! I take a shower at night before bed, and in the morning, I just wash my face and head. I do not use shampoo, just soap. I found it helps me with my oily head. Rest of my skin is fine, I just have way to much sebum buildup. So yea, dandruff too. Another two reasons why I decided to try nizoral cream.

Anyhow, my plan was to clean my hair in the shower, then apply the cream to my damp head. I plan on leaving in for the whole night, everynight, to be rinsed off in the morning when I clean my head again with a mild soap. Now you said you patted your hair dry, so does that mean I can gently dry my hair while still leaving the cream on? If I do dry my hair, how long should I have the cream on before I attempt to dry? Or should I just dry my hair, then apply the cream and just go to bed? In the few days I have been trying it, no skin irritation so whatever, no adverse reaction yet. Although if shed happens, I’ll take that as a good sign. Anyways, anything you can tell me would be great. I appreciate it!

Oh, and sorry if some of these questions sound kind of dumb.

i just pat the hair dry, so that the hair is basically still wet but not dripping…rub the cream in let hair and cream dry
i even style it after that

I apply it qod post shower/shampoo & towel dry. I apply emu after that and leave them on till next shower. No science, no research, just how I felt it would be most effective.

Speaking of effective. After 10 months of application to the crown I can say there is no noticable change.
