Nobody has been able 2 control hair direction & density in the past 10 years of experiments & trials yet we are closing in on a cure. LOL

We had an early discussion ( back when the Taiwan National University released that paper about the ProtoHair work)about the cellular “matrix”/scaffolds and the need for cell aggregation/assembling. Here is a Post of JB about the subject :

Kurt Stenn is Chief Scientific Officer of Aderans. He has performed much ground-breaking research in the field and is one of the top hair researchers in the world. This guy is no joke.

3 reasons why Aderans’ advance should be taken seriously.

Reason 1: HM is very very difficult to figure out how to get consistent. IMHO, Aderans stands the best chance of getting consistency because they use a 3-d cell growing environment that allows the cells to clump. This has been shown to keep DP cells from breaking down in culture because the clumping promotes healthy signaling between the cells. Thus the DP cells’ genetic expression remains intact unlike DP cells grown in a standard petri dish and injected in a standard syringe.

Reason 2: Aderans mixes epithelial cells with DP cells using a 2-cell approach. This promotes important signaling (such as WNT) and has been shown to keep DP cells from breaking down genetically during high passages.

Reason 3: Aderans uses matrices to house the cells. Thus each little matrix is a self-contained powerhouse with the potential to grow hair. The goal is to add all the cell types, growth factors, etc. together in a self contained environment. Thus, the cells rely less on the signaling environment inside the body and more on the environment inside the matrix, thus consistency will be improved.

Bonus Reason: In Barrows’ original 2001 paper, he revealed he was able to grow hair in a person in a place that normally does not grow hair (read signaling environment not conducive to hair growth in that spot). So it is known that the procedure worked somewhat even in its very infancy. Factor in 7 additional years of research, a very large team of dedicated scientists, and millions of dollars in R&D, and it gets kind of hard to dismiss Aderans’ effort.

Will this be a cure for all bald people upon release? Of course not. But it certainly stands a chance of emerging as a significant breakthrough that radically alters the direction of hair restoration.

Lots of work and research remains to be done. What is known is that Aderans can grow more hair on a mouse using human cells than you had as a teenager. Whether ARI can achieve this level of consistency in humans remains to be seen. But IMO, the matrix provides the best chance possible compared to anything we’ve seen so far. The key is 3-d clumping of the cells in order to promote a correct and natural signaling environment that is much closer to the environment you had during early development than the 2-d standard syringe approaches we’ve seen so far.

James Bond is located in [NA] and he is available to meet: NO

Hey friends.
What’s with the hair from Taiwan.
They have said they have developed.
