New study: effectiveness of a botanical formula in treating hair loss due to Lichen Planopilaris

Recent study published in Dermatology and Therapy, an international peer-reviewed medical journal, reports that Gashee, an all natural topical botanical treatment, is effective in treating hair loss caused by Lichen Planopilaris (LLP).

Lichen Planopilaris is an inflammatory condition that typically affects the patient’s hair and scalp. Commonly reported symptoms include hair loss, bald patches, scaly skin, redness or red bumps around hair follicles. LLP can cause scarring which can cause permanent hair loss (cicatricial alopecia).

All test subjects in the study are biopsy proven to have Lichen Planopilaris. The test subjects were treated with Gashee topical formula or in combination with Gashee oral supplements for a period of 6 weeks to 9.5 months. As a side note, prior to this study, some of the test subjects were previously treated with topical minoxidil, steroid injections, tacrolimus, and clobetasol with no improvement.

Below are photo documentation of the before and after results. No side effects were reported.
