Not much new here. We already knew 5/7 (71%) grew new hair in phase I. That’s VERY old news. We already know that there is potential for a lot of money to be made, if it works. So $1 billion is not really surprising. Probably more than that if it works as we all hope. Much less if it doesn’t work any better than what’s out there. Plus it’s just a projection. Doesn’t mean much at this point. The only thing that jumped out at me was that they are going to release Vavelta before phase II is complete (still gathering Phase II data after release). I hope that holds true for ICX-TRC.
It’s good to know that Intercytex is promoting their product through reports like these. BUT notice the timeline at the end – they anticipate “additional” phase II data in 2008, nothing else. So there is reason to be cautious…
