Natural

You might want to look into magnesium oil as a topical. I’ve read that it reduces inflammation as well.

resveratrol wont stop itchiness that is caused by DHT also extra sebum which is dietary related
You also need to be on a high potency hair vitamin and mineral instead of just magnesium , you cannot just add one or two supplements you have to attack from all angles

Not saying res might not be helpful but by itself it wont cure itchiness
I had horrible itchiness off and on for 20 yrs tried everything under the sun
when i addressed my dht with the dht blockers the itching stopped
not saying natural dht blockers will work on you , we all respond to different regimens

the naturals regimen is a bit bizarre if you ask me

» Natural,

when you introduced toco into your regime did you notice an increase in shedding?

MSM is definiteley helping me, im seeing terminal hairs in the middle of my FOREHEAD, (as well as my temples, only 2 or 3 terminals there though) ive only been on it for 3 weeks, no doubt about it.

how long have you been on MSM for?

Never.

Tocotrienols did not stop my hair loss by themselves. But I do think that they slowed it down, as well as, thickened my hair.

I have been taking MSM since last summer. It also makes my hair thicker and stronger. But again, MSM not something that is going to stop one’s hair loss by itself.

Internally, the combination of resveratrol and curcumin has been shown to control psoriasis. Topically, I have read good things about magnesium oil’s ability to reduce inflammation.

DHT blockers, specifically beta sitosterol, caused scalp itchiness in more people than I care to mention here. Jacob can attest to this.

What is “bizarre” about my regimen  ?

yes high doses of beta sis are to be avoided
i didnt add beta sis until 3 yrs into my regimen so its not needed

» I use resveratrol 100 by Jarrow

I take this supplement…orally. But I have no idea if it helps with hairloss.

Another reason to be on Maxi Hair
MSM is in Maxi Hair, in a decent amount

why go around buying so many individual supps

Well, you will most likely not see a (hair) benefit with any resveratrol product until it is combined with curcumin. Now, the product that you are presently taking has 20 mg. of trans-resveratrol, much less than the Jarrow and Country Life brands (100 mg.)

I have found that when a regimen is working well for me, the following will occur:

  1. Less restroom visits. Frequent urination is not a good sign for me. But daily bowel movement is. Multi-vitamins increase my restroom visits three fold, that is why I don’t take them. These type of supplements may, in fact, give my hair an initial boost (i.e. provide some thickness). But the results are never maintained for a significant period of time. In other words, these commercial hair loss supplements lose their effectiveness.
  2. More hours of uninterrupted, continuous sleep.
  3. Little to no itching on the scalp or anywhere else.
  4. No visible shed(ding) of hair in thinning areas.
  5. Less mirror time. Hair has become much more manageable, and seems to cover more area than before.

The hair loss treatments regimen that works for me is soaking my hair with green tea and it works!
