Hello, I’m Dr. Mehmet Demircioglu, founder of Diamond Hair Clinic in Istanbul, Turkey.
I recorded this short video to introduce myself and explain how I approach hair transplant surgery.
I operate on one patient a day and no more than ten patients a month. Keeping my practice small gives me time to study each case, plan carefully and stay personally involved throughout treatment. I perform the surgery and review each patient’s progress regularly for 18 months afterwards.
In the video, I also discuss assessing suitability, the available donor area, realistic expectations and planning for future hair loss. Sometimes the appropriate plan is more conservative, involves waiting, or spreads treatment over two sessions. I believe these details should be discussed before proceeding.
