let’s just face it, all of these companies are at a dead stand-still.
there’s no good news in hair research that will help us right now.
i don’t want to be accused of criticizing any specific company, but all these companies and their research seems to have hit a brick wall… they’re not bringing out any positive news because there is none.
people who talk about untested and unproven ideas like Acell here have absolutely no grounding in their talk, it is just idle chatter to pass the time. it is worthless. Acell isn’t listening, and even if it were a best case scenario and they did listen (which they’re not), it would take like TEN YEARS to get their technology off the ground, get the proper research done, and get it approved by the fda and other agencies in england, the eu etc…
the rest of the companies seem to have hit a dead-end.
face it: we are not seeing any good news from any of these companies because there is none.
soon we will have to either opt for brutal ht or just accept our fate.

I’m not asking you to stop posting on hairsite.
I’m asking you to post only when you have something intelligent to say.
hmmm… come to think of it, that’s the same thing.

What is this guy talking about?? Apparently ACELL is for sale to the public this month. We will start chemical peelin, cheese gradin’ our own heads and sprinkling pixie dust. We should know if it is a scam or not in 6 months. Now if people would just stop talking about Intercytex…that would make more sense
Wow, you really do have a problem, don’t you? You have absolutely ZERO proof that any of the companies have “hit a brick wall”. Do you think that all of these companies make weekly press releases to satisfy people like you? What planet are you from?

Aw cut it out ya sourpuss!
well guys he may be a pesimist but he’s right about something. We should be prepared for years of waiting. Except of a little hope we have, all the evidence shows that finding something that would grow hair on our heads will be extremely difficult.
ICX - not going to happen any time soon
Follica - the same, it may even take longer then ICX
both can fail and never end up selling
home made wounding trials - I know its way to soon to tell, but so far, no one acheived anything substantial. - we need to get prepared for months of tests and we need to be prepared that 6 months from now on, there will be only few guys trying, and still without success. What I think is that few from now on, whole this board will be full of follica pesimists because your hopes are too high. It is not so easy to grow hair. If you believe you will be able to do it yourself, you basically think of yourself being a super man. I may be wrong but I think you guys could easily become bashing whole woundng & follica theory few months from now on, just because no one will be able to reproduce it at home. Sort of that ICX bashing after the last report. First few weeks after that I was almost an optimist here compared to the average board member.
If you want to be a realist, be prepared for years of failures here before someone finds something that works well.
acell - I still can’t fully believe that it is true. We should see soon.
True. Baldbaby may be right, but given his track record chances are equally good he’s full of it. Technically, anyone has a 50-50 chance of being right… even idiots.
I’m tired of repeating myself, but I feel obliged to remind everyone this is research forum. It should be about facts, quantifiable news releases, and educated assumptions base on the aforementioned info. NOT a personal playground for chronically depressed attention whores.

Anything that Folica can do, we can do.
They’re not inventing any top secret Plutonium for this gig themselves. It’s just a matter of reading patents and trying enough of them.
Yeah, maybe we (and Folica) still won’t get it figured out for years, but the possibility is entirely there.
“Super man?”
I can cut my skin, and yet my body always just closes up the wound & regrows some new skin for the spot all by itself.
I can even tear off the upper portion of my hair follicles with sandpaper, and even THAT heals up as if it never happened every time.
So I can reliably regenerate tissue when wounded to fully functional status. It doesn’t exactly make me Wolverine.
» do it with follicles so that they start to grow normal dense hair and I
» will consider you being a super man
Hey Everyone,
All these companies are never going to post actual results on the web for the common man to see it. Its classified company info and they can lose to their competitors if they do. I believe Follica has a great product that will work well… i believe it will be available in 2-3 years. It has been advertised on the Today Show, so its def legit… Top notch school are backing it up not some small lab in england somewhere…I still believe Intercytex has a good product, they are just not sharing all the info cuz if they do their partners like Bosley will hurt in the short term…No one will get hair transplants…i am just seeing this from a business perspective and we all know…MONEY is what drives decisions in business!!!
This is just idle chitchat. Of course something will arrive eventually, and most likely in fewer than ten years. Yawn. I can see why JTR et al. don’t post here anymore…

+if the product…as you put it…works…and then it would be patented then right? why do propecia manufacturers share their info? because the product is patented , they dont care

You’re right, will you delete your account now and go away? Or will you continue spamming this board with this same message every few days?
Perhaps you have no life and this is your way of getting people to talk to you?

What? what do you mean “Technically, anyone has a 50-50 chance of being
» right… even idiots.” 2+1 is 4 what is the chance I am right?

We’re dealing with two key variables here: We’ll either find a cure or we won’t.
Baldbaby chooses to pick one side (we won’t find a cure). His comments aren’t based on any intellectual foresight; he just flips a coin to base his decisions. It’s idiotic.
