Strip donor area

The close up looks fine but from a distance it looks a bit odd, maybe the hairline is too straight.

Unfortunately, they did not take top view pictures as there was no work done in the crown area.
But I will remember to make it more strict to take top view as well as back view pictures in such patients too.
We did use to take them for most patients as you can see in the patient gallery section of our website.

Regards,
Dr. A

Dear bernieh,
This is an interim result for the first stage hair restoration of a NW 6 patient with extensive hairloss.

However, I would like to know the reasons for your opinion. Maybe, I could help clarify.

Dr. A

i just don’t think, that it looks naturally.

i agree with you.very unnatural

Alright, I understand where the confusion is arising from.
While this patient is happy with the outcome so far, and in person it looks completely natural; it is also true that 3000 grafts would not suffice to cover all/most areas of his extensive hairloss.

To understand my point, its easy to compare this result to the one at
http://www.hairsite.com/hair-loss/board_entry-id-73802.html
where the extent of hairloss is less and the grafts available in a single strip are sufficient to acheive all the goals in a single pass.

In Joseph’s case this is interim result for the first stage of his HT.

Dr. A

P.S. - we try to post all types of results and not cherrypicked ones only. This helps to further patient awareness. I think this is for the good of all.
