» Do you mean the study below from Russia (posted here recently by Amilcar,

» hawking spurious so-called “cures” or “hair treatments”…?
The study did not hawk any of Nioxin’s products. I do believe the study is FACT. If you do not treat your DHT induced hair loss within a certain amount of time, the follicles suffer permanent and irreversable damage. I know that from my own experience.
Many who find out too late what works and what doesn’t against DHT have already lost a lot of hair. Its hair they will NEVER get back no matter what they do. You will never see a NW6 reverse back into a NW2. That has not happened in the history of man.

Neither did the reversal of leukemias, infections, cancers, and many other diseases before the correct therapies were discovered. They may not work 100% of the time but they’re used because they do work much of the time.
IMO we really dont know. At this point we understand the gene and protein expressions that cause balding, but not yet how to reverse. I have been applying pgd2 inhibitors and minox for over 2 months and seeing hair loss stopped and slight vellous regrowth. I am 43 yrs old so I will be a good case and the first to grow hair and prove this theory of death follicle wrong. I am confident that we will soon close in on a perfect topical cocktail that will grow hair> it wont be scientific, but if it works that is all that matters. Alec

Hey would you mind setting up a blog, and posting pics at 1 month interval starting with the beginnin so it will be really easy to follow? Just a suggestion, in case you are inclined that way.
I just came here to say that I’m following this thread and others related with PGD2 blockers with all my attention. It seems that we “discovered” the holy grail, at least for stopping hair loss.
For me it is not enough (I’m NW3 to NW4 going faster, 21yo), but I’m going to buy some of this soon so I can at least keep what I have and keep reading. Hope we find something to get some hair back also.
